  • In this episode of Yan Can Cook, Chef Martin Yan prepares a few of his favorite pork recipes, starting with pork chops prepared two ways. First up is Jing Du Pork Chops (or spareribs) (1:00) 🥩, made with Jing Du sauce made from ketchup, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, dry sherry, hot pepper sauce, garlic, ginger, and sugar.
Next, he demonstrates how to prepare spiced orange pork chops (9:37) For the orange sauce, you'll want to grab garlic, ginger, crushed chili, orange juice, chicken broth, sugar, and orange zest.
Chef Yan rounds out the episode with a thai pork and basil stir fry (13:51), a simple dish made with braised pork, and then special guest Shirley Fong-Torres, founder of Wok Wiz Chinatown Tours stops by to join Martin in creating a stuffed pork recipe (18:22).

Hurt my soul when he trimmed off the fat. Probably right around the peak of the "fat is awful" advice period in time.
    Edit: those knife skills... Unreal
