I think the reason people don't go through the barrier when a train is coming is because they think it blocks them. People don't know the barrier will just pop off and give way.
5:50, fun fact, that is an agricultiral self propelled sprayer and it's original name was the Terra-Gator 1803 and it has an 300 hp cummins engine with slight modifications
1:00 A little addition to the funfact there was the plan to build the Landkreuzer P-1000 „Ratte“ which would have been an 35m long 14m wide 11m high 1000Ton heavy tank with 2 280 mm Naval Canons
The "Honda Bigger Red" is a tractor known as the Terragator. Terragator was extremely well known for their 3 wheeled tractors, but they also made 4 and 5 (yes, 5) wheeled tractors. The name "Bigger Red" is a reference to the Honda Big Red 3 wheeler ATV from the 80s/90s.
Loud exhausts barely makes sense when you have an engine to make the noise. I'm glad to see we are in agreement that a loud exhaust on an ev is even more stupid.
Maybe transition from low-energy beeping tones (like on a forklift) at slow speed, to physical wind instruments (like whistles or rotary sirens but less obnoxious) when there's enough high airflow or RPM.
@@pceneroidk a single vehicle that even does that. they all have low humming noises at low speed. at higher speeds tire noise is more than loud enough

at 7:00 I can explain the gates. Railroad crossings in the US are automatic only now. We do not have crossing operators anymore and haven't for decades. There's a couple different ways the system detects a train, be it a track based electrical circuit or motion sensing. But the crossing activates automatically with gates (if present) closing shortly after (usually from 1 to 5 second delay). Federal railroad administration governs a 20 second time frame between all gates being fully closed and the arrival of the train. Said gates are indeed designed to put up no resistance if stressed, they swing away and then fall off when they are bent 90 degrees either way. Often enough, if the gate isn't actually bent in the middle, it can just be reinstalled on the gate arm. Also the train was fine, it just had some damage on the front left steps and handrails. It didn't even break a light. By the way yes the dude filming was indeed there because new york central boogaloo.
I believe that giant 3-wheeler is a TerraGator. It was either equipped with a solid fertilizer spreader or a liquid fertilizer spreader. They were made in the 80's and they are awesome
7:03 crossing gates, lights and bells in the US are automatic, solely based on if a train is in the nearby "block", or insulated track section, by using the wheels of the train to complete a circuit.
4:49 as someone from Michigan, I can in fact confirm that our roads are like that. I have a friend with a static car and he looses his front bumper all the time
there is even Bigger 3 Wheelers, built for farming Some examples: Agrifac LightTraxx dewulf Zkivse (even has Tracks) Oxbo AT4103 (the AT5105 even has 5 Wheels)
Maybe those e-car companies should consider just replacing the piston heads with magnets and make an engine block that has copper coils in it to move the pistons. Might be more appealing to the motor enthusaists.
Larson farms have something called a tiregator, very similar to that red honda 3 wheeled thing. There's has a fertiliser spreader on the back of it for field work

goliath had both a wire and a rc version, it shows when you realise that most of the advanced militairy tech of the US post ww2 builds on both allied and German tech of ww2, (the allies were ahead in informational warfare, radar, timed fuzes etc. the Germans designed the jet technology which all modern jetfighters derive from (yes jetfighters were also designed by the allies but they were designed in a manner that was abandoned in favor of the junkers Jumo designfilosophy), missiles, optics, infrared tech,...

Personally I love Hyundai and want to see em grow into a awesome brand that they are now in peak.
The dodge soundsystem for engine noise has real potential and if you can't see that you are truly blind. Perfect enough as to shut it up for your pissy neighbours and make noise when you had left the street.
7:40 When thinking of "miata" you think of the NA and NB which...kinda cannot fit anyone let along something more than two backpacks and a motocycle helmet but The Angry Cat certainly has the bonnet much much deeper Also about that fake exhaust noise....they have been trying to sell "fake gearboxes"...you have these fake paddle shifters and a fake rev gauge as well.... Well, 'exhaust'
If i drive an ev, i wanna hear an actual electric motor and not some speakers that just add extra drain to the batteries

dewulf Zkivse (even has Tracks)
Oxbo AT4103 (the AT5105 even has 5 Wheels)

The "Honda Bigger Red" is an old Ag-Chem Terra-Gator. It's a self propelled agricultural chemical applicator.
The three wheeler is an old Terra gator, which were fertilizer sprayers and spreaders and the use the giant tires for lower soil compaction
