By the way u did grt job.keep it up..i completed 28000 kms on my grey horse (Himalayan).,giving me 37-40 Kms/L at 80 KmPH on highways. 27-30 Kms/L within d city incl., all gear shiftings & traffic.Trust me this is not fake. If I cruise in 110 KmPH on highways it still gives 35 Kms/L. Fuel tank capacity is 15.5 ltrs. Fuel indicator details -> 10 litres white line,5 litres in red line and 0.5 litres remains unusefull. The company it self gives 450 kms range on full tank. U can make more kms depends on riding.😇 #GHO❤️

Hi friends. I look the new Himalayan last 2 months back on July 13. I'm done with my 1st service as well. but I'm unhappy with the mileage. I completed 3000km in one month still giving 20kms/hr. I don't know why. Any suggestions or tips to increase mileage???
Once go to showroom brother, my bike is giving 35km/lr approximately. Once consult the showroom and explain your issue. All other Himalayan will definitely give 35km/l itre mileage. So better to go to the RE Showroom. Any queries ping me to my instagram account @

Mileage depends on how hard you are pushing the bike. If you're doing constant 80 in 5th gear, you will be around only 3000 rpm. Appudu mileage ekkuva vastundi. If you are in start stop traffic with lots of acceleration & breaking you'll get really low mileage. I've done a lot of long trips on my himalayan. I am getting ~30kmpl doing 110-120 on highways. If you're only doing ~80-90, you can get a lot more mileage.
@@sleepyhead9905 after reading your comment I maintained constant speed of 80KMPH on highways but still my RPM meter is touching 4. It only stays on 3 if you drive at 60KMPH. But as you rightly said mileage depends on the rotations (RPM). Fortunately if your bike stays at RPM 3 even if you are cruising at 80KMPH could you pls make a video of it ND share with us. Appreciate your response

Tht 20kms/hr is not mileage.. It's average speed.. Himalayan won't show mileage.. U have to calculate it for ur self
