Thank you so much! I've been hankering for a new car, but have this very same Sportwagen TSI 4motion (same color too!)... this video made me realize it's not the car that's wanting, it's the driver! So, I'm going to get out in some different terrain and enjoy my beautiful Sportwagen even more. You guys saved me, what, $30-40k?
Alex LaJeunesse this is my friends car and they had the front wheel drive one before this and I can tell you if you don’t wanna spin through 2nd gear on take off and if you’re looking to carve turns the AWD gives it such a better planted feel and with the DSG it gives you launch control so I leave everyone for dead at stop lights lol the MPG also isn’t as effected as you’d think
The Left Lane Reviews I got the 1.4T FWD with the 8 speed auto and love it. I live in SoCal and don’t need the awd and I do need the 35-40mpg that I’m getting. Doesn’t mean I won’t get the 1.8T 4motion at some point if I move perhaps? But a Golf R with DSG might also be the ticket.
Depends has the same engine/AWD system but just more ground clearance so for deep snow driving it’d be better but for your day to day light dusting to 3” of snow the normal 4 motion will do just fine
@@kent570253 explain your opinion because facts say otherwise you don't get the features and upgrades is a base model SW that come standard in a base model alltrack not to mention all the luxury features are standard in a base model alltrack that again are added features for more money on a SW they also look plain and boring compared to the alltrack they don't ride as smooth and the awd is less effective in the SW than in the alltrack which is also added as an option to the SW. It's a poor Man's alltrack

I can’t tell u how much I love my 2013 golf to diesel
This was tough to watch. Unreasonable circumstances to be hooked.
I have a diesel..i used to have a challenger but i love this car so much
That is awesome. Even more awesome is that this is essentially the same as a 2015 so can save even more money buying a nice used one 😆
Barely used 2017 golf sport wagon, all options leather interior garage kept never winter driven…
Ive got a diesel front wheel drive i def will buy a 4 motion
That was awsome!
Cheers
Melissa Robertson thank you!!
0:59 little Scandinavian flick !
Better yet, mom can I borrow the waggon I’m only going to rip down to the store for a second.
Did you ever brake anything related to power train?
Most definitly with this kind of driving of the soft little golf, no matter the 4wd its still low as a sportscar and totally useless on bad roads
This really makes me want the 4motion version but I don’t need it.

“For sale, barely driven”
Is alltrack better for snow?

I have the same 2017 4motion in white
Is this a manual transmission by chance?
MadCritical i Wish but it is the 6 speed DSG
Dude really sped the video up to make it look faster than it is. Shame
ya need to learn how to drive in snow, to much wheel spin creates problems..I daily drive a sportwagon in quebec Winter driving is my passion.
Please do more Jetta reviews
"1 owner lady driven never thrashed"
This is hilarious, but you’ll regret it when it’s time for suspension maintenance or tires. And the paint is fucked! Lmao poor transmission.
the poor mans alltrack
The wise man decision!!!.
