Takes me back to when I was a boy. Used to see Novas all the time. This is a beauty! Thanks for taking me back, Nick!
The sound is awesome! That is a gorgeous car. There's something special about 69 muscle cars. I think 1969 was the best year for American muscle!
robert jones - I've always thought the same thing about '69. I'm partial to 66 & 67 Chevelles, but 1969 seemed to be the peak year for all manufacturers.
I agree
53-year-old Chevy😎👍🏻 give those cars a lot of love they’ll run forever🥇
My best friend had a blue 72 Nova with Cragars on it. We had a lot of fun times in it, going out meeting women and partying. He is no longer with us. I see videos of Novas and always think of all thoae great times we had.
Boy this makes me miss mine. It was as nice as this one, maybe nicer undercarriage. Gave it away for $7500.00 back in the 90’s. Man, how prices went up on these.
Its not a '69 according to the tail lights ... they should be like the '68 ... this looks to be a '70. ... nice car still. Although drum brakes on all 4 would be correct ... maybe they changed out the tail lights?
Hi guys. Beautiful car. I read some comments about drum brakes no good and need to go to disc brakes. I would just like to make it known for all you hot-rodders out there who want to keep things original, you can have brake shoes relined with much Superior material than stock. There are also modifications you can do with bigger wheel cylinders and different Master cylinders for brake pressure. Also modifications you can do with the brake drums. My point? If you were wanting to stay original, you can make drum brakes work very very well. I know this is an old video I hope this advice helps you fellow hot-rodders, to include ladies of course. Got to love Maple Motors, everyday I look at the different cars be well everybody
My first car was a Nova it was two-tone white painted top with a bronze bottom half a 6-cylinder that outlasted the body it was a 72 with hijackers on the back end we heated up the front shocks so they would collapse and lower Moon hubcaps look pretty good it even had the rabbit hijackers sticker on the back side roll down window the good old late 70s early 80s. My brother had a Chevy 2 super sport 66 about the same time mint shape 327 350 horse with a 410 gear 12 bolt rear end bought it from the original owner who drag raced it a special order that from the factory with a reddish maroon colored paint that came on the Cadillac sold it for thousand bucks way back when same time I had the Nova. Also looking at this video him driving reminds me of how it felt I keep glancing over and looking at the vent window driver side just like I did when I drove mine feels like I'm watching my teenage years in real time as I cruise through the town
Mikes working great. Camera colors seem to be more vivid. Doing a great job. You speak of hoods the several trucks I’ve done over the years the old Ford late sixties early 70’s the hoods appeared to have blown up on 3 different ones. The hoods are so heavy they appear to shut but not. You were speaking of single traction, most SS novas came with posi units. Thanks for the outstanding walk arounds. The difference between you and a car salesman, most would try to hide or not mention all the flaws in order to make a sale. Thanks, for you honest approach. Since you’re a musician I’ll use an old line I like from a Randy Travis’ song… “Honest as a Robin on a Springtime windowsill. Good show. Don W. Evans, Ga…
I had a 68 with manual steering, it was a work out pulling out parking stalls but it was fun to drive!
Those Chevy trucks you got they are beautiful👍🏻😎
That bronze color was very popular in the late '60s early '70s. Awesome car.
Starter dragging….someone has spent some time and money doing upgrades! Sounds good but I don’t understand the brakes not being upgraded from drum to disc! The interior looks really nice and the motor looks great! Nice car but 15k would kill it!
15 was the prices 6 years ago, Thanks
My classic dream cars list is as follows lol first be all original cardinal red black interior 455 70 gto, then would be all original black with black interior Grey stripe yenko 69 nova, then a very dark almost blackish green 69 gto with 467 butler performance fuel injection stroker, then an black on black 1973 Oldsmobile cutlass restomod with ls3 then of course my pickup truck probably a really nice Ford 150 an a dodge dually in my garage above my underground bunker, so let's hope I hit this powerball again lol!!
Hey Nick, when you get rich & all, this is the kind of car I'd love!! You know my style, growls & snorts and barks a mean 2nd gear! Has to be automatic transmission!!! This one will do nicely! Love the color!!!! ✌😎💨
mic sound sounds good to me good price on this car i love nova
No Wonder you sell so many cars you Are honest Nick stay cool 😎 😎
Jeez, I remember getting a stock Nova like that for $800 back in 1983, not nearly as nice as that specimen, but cheap and a Nova with a 350, and a starting point.
I heard the sing in the intro, iam guessing that's ur band, pretty sweet my kind jams, also sorry multiple comments I try not do that but had say something when Bryan mentioned ur music..that's after I filled ur comments prior with ramblings lol, but really sweet nova that thing is straight!
Thank you
And a headlight out on the passenger side and a parking light out on the passenger side as well bro.
I gotta wait for my purchase with you but I am pretty confident I will find a good quality car at a great price at MM.

Looks like a 70-71-72.....bigger taillights
70-72 had back up lights in center of tailights these are 68-69
68-69 had backup lights on the inside of the taillights... don't see them here....68-69 did not have this type of 350 badge on front fender
You have a break light out on the driver side bro.
Another nice nova gone fast! Awesome!

Nice Nova.
Waiting for a Spanish speaking person to ask “Why would I buy a car named “Doesn’t go”?😂
I remember hearing Chevrolet had trouble selling them in Spanish markets. Hahaha. 🤣👍
@@BrianKliewer the story of the Chevy Nova “no go” is a myth, an urban legend. It never actually happened. Like many urban legends, the Chevy “no go” story was repeated so many times that people believed it to be true. Also, similar to other urban legends, the Chevy “no go” story has a small element of truth, for “no va” does mean “no go.”
The Chevy Nova sold well in Latin America , do your homework
@@larryplants1502 Ha, do you really think I care? Do my homework? We're not talking about Putin here. Get a life, please. Trivia is trivial. By the way, I heard the story on a radio program many, many years ago.
@@BrianKliewer You must have voted for Biden , Don't care about the truth.
@@larryplants1502 Look, Beavis...I'm not interested in your trivial pursuits. Got it?!
I love that color 😍🥰
You have a break light out on the driver side bro 😹
Looks good from far,
Ooooh nice color too
You have a headlight and a parking light out on the passenger side bro 😹
I'm an old car guy. I have a request. When you are doing the flaws could you please go a tad slower? I'd like to actually see the panels. I like watching you and those cars that were new when I wore a younger man's clothes.
You Are not old, i AM 70 and I love cars, man i go around with My son Jimmi in hodies and drivning with My son in his awsome car 🤟 😊 😊
@@tombankwel4822 😉😉🤔😎😎

Sweet!
what sizes do you tee shirts come in. I am a 3x guy. 6'4" 265'
I have all sizes below in the description, Thank you
Do you ship world wide
Oh yeah.👍
Nice
Looks like 70 no 69 tail lights.
This is not true 69 nova, wrong marker lites, wrong fenders, tail lites are wrong, at least it's a 70 nova. Wrong bumpers and turn lites. Wiring is mostly chopped up due to all wrong switches.
👊🤝✊
🇺🇲👍🏻
did you seriously get 26,900 for this?
Thats a low price for them now.
