I watched this discussion on the longer stream, it was pretty good. If visions are a problem when it comes to John, then following that same logic then visions would also be a problem for Muhammad as well. If you deny the first but affirm the latter, then you are not consistent at all.

Mohammad was actually a devout Christian who taught to follow Jesus because he is the savior. And he taught about Yahweh and the trinity. And then the Quran was corrupted by the pagan Uthman when he rewrote it to serve his God Allah. He wrote himself and others into the Quran as a companion. Logic is not playing fair here. He has every right to ask these questions.
And John’s vision is not enough to prove to a Muslim that Jesus claimed to be God.
This line usually works for logic but not here.
The point is, does the bible teach that Jesus is God. Avery showed him what the text says, and then he says that John's vision isn't reliable, although he is the same who wrote the Gospel of John. Rather, he takes visions as legit proof is irrelevant because Christians do. And if you ask where in the Bible does jesus say it and it's pointed out to you, then be honest and admit the bible does say it. There are multiple places where the bible teaches that Jesus is God.
He wasn't asking him to agree. He was asking him to accept that the Bible claims it, not that he agrees. Because if he is saying, I can't accept prophesy about the messiah nor visions or the messiah is true according to the Bible, then that's dishonesty. You can at least say, yes, the Bible makes the claim. You don't have to say you agree with the Bible.
