This Sci-Fi themed corridor is part two of three indoor queues that you’ll encounter before you board your rockets! Fun Fact: Space Mountain opened on May 27, 1977 at Disneyland with Magic Kingdom’s version of Space Mountain opening on January 14, 1975 2 years prior to Disneyland’s version and that’s why WDW’s Space Mountain is called Space Station 75 and Disneyland’s Space Mountain called Space Station 77!

It’s probably the music and the safety video combined also considering that going into outer space is terrifying bc we aren’t at the level of Star Wars technology yet so being stranded out in space a black endless void of nothing sounds terrifying to kids!
