- Japan's New Supercarrier will make China's type-003 aircraft carrier obsolete.
The combination of aircraft, technology, and manpower on an aircraft carrier creates a formidable force capable of executing a wide range of missions.
Japan’s not building or developing a supercarrier… they just recently converted the Kaga into a small aircraft carrier and they have yet to recieve the first batch of F35B….
Japan is building a new aircraft carrier with an angled deck.
Considering that the Izumo class has around a 1/4 of the full load tonnage of the PLAN Type-003 Fujian and would only be able to carry just over half the airwing of the Fujian, just how in the hell do you figure they would render the Type-003's obsolete?
The Izumo class is basically a repurposed LHD which at best will be able carry about 12 F-35's, compared to the Fujian's ability to carry up to 50+ aircraft. And at 26,000 full load ton, the Izumo are drawfed by the PLAN's Type-076 LHD which is under construction as we speak and should have a full load tonnage of 48,000 tons and be equipped with a CATOBAR system to launch fighters and strike drones.
Meanwhile the PLAN's existing Type-075 LHD is comes in at 36,000 tons full load but can't launch fighters at this time but does carry 28 helicopter that could be adapted for the maritime strike roll if need be.
The JMSDF nor its government have any plans to start building any dedicated carriers super or otherwise and probably couldn't afford to do so at this time. China on the other hand does have both the plans and ability to build more Type-003's along with much rumoured next generation Type-004 carrier which is expected to be both nuclear powered and on par with the current USN generation of super carriers, the Ford Class.
Perhaps you should stick to actual facts and stop with the alarmist click bait titles.
Anything is possible with the use of copium.
@@metanews7656 Not too sure what you are trying to say here.
If the inactivity of the Fujian is anything to go by., and poor quality of China’s jet engines. I very much doubt the PLA04 carrier will be “on par with US carriers”
@@stevelong7187 What inactivity of the Fujian? She's been out on conducting sea trails quite regularly as new ships do prior to final operational commissioning.
It's been reported that she may of even conducted her lauch and recovery of aircraft, those this has yet to be confirmed.
And what proof do you have that China's jet engines are of poor quality? Their WS-15 Emei engine fast the same or near enough not to matter the same weight to thrust ratio as the engine powering the US's F-22's, though still requires a bit more refinement and development.
Considering what the PLAN has done in the span of 12 short years with their carrier development plan, it should come as no surprise to anyone if their future Type 04 and later Type 05 are the equal of the USN Ford class if not surpassing it.
Only those such as yourself apparently who are living in the land of De Nile would believe otherwise, and apparently the planners in the USN don't live there.
They see the threat the PLAN's rapid advancments in carrier design, technology, production and potential capabilities as threat number one to their dominance of the worlds oceans.
Fujan will not carry 50+ aircraft. they will be lucky to get 40-45. That carrier is still not that big. Japan doesnt need a super carrier. a series of newer smaller carriers crewed with F-35's would be more than suffiicient.
Click bait title and thumbnail. Total BS! Blocking channel.
Smart move
Amazing super aircraft carrier of JAPAN!
Not China but USA..
Talking NONESENSE!!
Doing a vertical recovery is not something new, and there are issues to doing so. It sucks fuel down, as the only thing holding the aircraft in the air for landing is brute force and tremendous volumes of fuel. I would think that someone would review what the US Marines did back in the early 80's with fixed wing spotter, armed to the teeth, fixed wing aircraft. They landed them without arresting wires, yes they had a very low stall speed and wind over the deck made some outstanding landings. I would feel that with a F35, they could accomplish something similar and save fuel and wear on the aircraft.
U.K. uses “rolling landing” with F-35B.
@@jaybee9269 Most likely there is some very stupid reason that a rolling landing is not employed, there are numerous examples of Top Down, rather useless procedures employed by military forces. One that my son often jokes about is aboard submarines the US still practices torpedo "Autofuel spill training" even though it is no longer in the fleet and hasn't been for over a decade. Yes a rolling landing would drastically increase the recovery speed of the aircraft and also drastically decrease the accident rates, but the boss says.
When Japan can't even designed and built a proper elevator for its Izumi flat platform carrier, US called it Aircraft Carrier, forget about it.
We didn't need the first 3 mins💯
Is Japan building it presently or still planning ???
this is some clickbait. wanna see some next gen asian carriers korean had a defense contractor convention and one of the contractor showed off some nice designs for a future korean carrier that was double decked I watched some of it on youtube
neither......they have no plans at all to build one, and probably couldn't afford to do so.....plus there is an issue with their constitution about build dedicated carriers, which is why the Izumo class is classified as a helicopter destroyer and not a LHD that she actually is.
Build it tomorrow! 😮
3 decades of economics recession
1+ birthrate
1/3 population over 60s retired
Everything degrading, empty village houses... Like EU
But yes Japan will build them all
Japan ship building is uncompetitive overtaken by S Korea
S Korea hold #1 for ~2 decades but lost title to China
China now holds supreme ship building how Japan build to compete?!
Japan ship building methodology is backward
China adapted US, S Korea way of ship building by parts & have build all machinery to do so
There's slightly better hope for S Korea then Japan BUT these 2 lacks the money muscle
S Korea population is soon on the dive 0.7-0.9% birth rate for ~6yrs
Not budging the worse birth rate of the 3 nations
Japan
Impossible
only China have the capability, budget & workforce
On top of she's world leading in all metallurgy
China will think twice before making any belligerent moves in WESTPAC!
Interestigly no body wasn't looking for new deck concept of carrirers, inceesig operational capability. For almost 70 years is well known double deck conept of angle deck. What if arrange it different way. For example two deck concept. Lower for disptchig plaines and and upper for landing. Is it possible?
It was tried back in the 30's, and while somewhat successful with slow bi-planes, it wasn't much good when the airwing aircraft got bigger and faster.
So another click bait title. I didn't know this channel was aiming to make people more stupid. The question for now is- Why?
More info Less hype please
Bravo Zulu, Cudos, Atta boy!
Have it built first!!! Looks great in cartoon series. If and when it is built China type 003 is obsolete because newer ones will be built and be more super than Japan’s. Japan wishful thinking.
The BS Channel
Japan has not had the expertise of aircraft carriers since 1945. How can they build an aircraft carrier superior to Chinese ships?
We have seen with the English that the loss of expertise of 20 or 30 years causes crashes of F-35b on takeoff and a request for support from the US Marines in the long term to catch up and become effective again.
In addition, Japan is coming out of 10 years of economic stagnation and a severe financial crisis is brewing, hence the departure of their Prime Minister who is throwing in the towel.
Where will they find the money to finance this new military asset....which will have to include at least a second ship to have one available at all times.
I have the impression that your video is based on a wish rather than on reality!!
I don't see what all the concern is about. I mean, it's not like Japan has a history of aggression or anything 🙄
🇯🇵
Japan Certainly dreamed of one But lacks the technology, Especially the ones controlled by the US, Just look at Japanese stealth fighter program which failed and now been replaced with the 6th gen fighter program together with UK and Italy.
Gtr carrier on steriods
Your topic is obsolete😂 Upload something new😅
What Japan can build, China can do better, given that it has the world's largest shipbuilding industry. Does Japan build big ships these days? This documentary is just like a wet dream. Lol.
Bull story, just propaganda to make some feel better!
Super carrier's are obsolete, stealthy air craft and large guided ordanince+ logistics, make your carriers a first strike priority.
