I bet he did at least once. If there were a bunch of bloopers hidden somewhere, like the ones during the end credits of Liar Liar, then I'm willing to bet there were quite a few fluffed lines and people on set cracking up at how crazy Jim was.
Maybe because it's not funny anymore after a lot of takes. A movie take that goes to the final cut oftenly is not the first take shooted. Just wonder repeating that scene 30 times (maybe)...it's not funny anymore because they're tired.

Top class actor, great memories. Such a shame these 80’s and 90’s legends are getting old. Hollywood these days it’s bland, with no charisma, pure trash.

Jim is a legend we don’t deserve him but he deserves the recognition and respect for being himself on and off camera

This is one of the best scenes in the history of movies.
That rewind bit makes me laugh every single time.
He did the rewind in first movie as well, when at mental hospital

The fact that the actor looking at Jim for that whole uncut rewind scene didn't laugh deserves an Oscar
normal , he is Captain Composed

More like how does anyone not burst out laughing whenever Jim Carrey is involved. :D
