Do you agree that this is one of the best ways into RC Racing? For the price it certainly seems like a great option and cheaper than building a race buggy from scratch! Dont forget to check out the RochesterRC Raceway if you are in the local area and fancy having a go at beginner racing. I had an in depth chat with the staff and it looks like dedicated Typhon GROM, FTX Tracer/HBX 16889a Classes might even be coming meaning getting into RC racing could be cheaper than ever! Awesome!
Awww Rik Ive been looking at one of these for a while. They aren't far behind the kit forms either. As for the Rochester RC Track, it's changed a bit since you recorded this and it's only going to get better!!!. Love your video and thanks for giving the guys a shout out. So much work is going into the project and it will be a really nice community hub.
This looks like a modern version of their old B4.1 and I'm all for it! That was the car that got me into racing and was the best car I could have asked for as a beginner. Hope this new buggy brings many others into the world of racing as well!
Great videos! I would love to see a youtubers race with really silly and NOT suited for the job trucks like all of them taking identical 2WD monster trucks to the track, that would be an absolute carnage :D.
My recommendations: I would change the 87t spur to a 81t spur and for pinion gears, the 22t to no less the 24t gears are good. There is one catch... both gears should be 48p. I have similar setups in my Tamiya Zahhak and Astute 2022.
You just woke up one day and "discovered" this RC huh? Cmon bro, just say thank you to the sponsors and review the product. These are very good carpet racers though, you made a good choice.
I think you misunderstood, I didn’t just discover a random rb10 somewhere at home 😂. What a meant was I discovered a really good beginner oriented platform for a good price when browsing online.
Here costs 300 euros, considering it comes brushless and it looks very good quality i find it honest for eha tu get. What i would have preferred is the central motor position..
Non competitive I meant as it can be set up is also a good idea. Gearing is low it is a proper race buggy it’s just the older rear motor RC10’s it’s like what a B4 and another RC10. T.A. Wolf packs are perfect. 2s the shocks are a bit leaky that’s it. It’s awesome and just fun. And Team Associated is quality you would never find non oil shocks from TA 😂. You can just have fun with it.
I placed two orders with Rochester RC and they've been the worst online shop by far. Super slow dispatch and my last order didn't even get dispatched. Still not received my refund. Model sport are the best by miles
very interesting. Someone else mentioned similar issues. Was this recent? They have migrated to a new ordering system and it didn't transition very well (software side) could have been during this period. Only heard good things about RochesterRC and they always put customer service first. Odd. Will pass this on
@@beyondRC the first order was last year and dispatch was a week after ordering. The second order was a few weeks ago. They did email me and said orders was lost in migration but that's not the reason for a late refund which I had to request three times. I was born in Rochester and wanted to support a shop from home but they were a let down.
@@grahamjacob710 Really sorry to hear this buddy. They did have massive issues and they also released an apology on their FB page. I know them all personally and they don't like letting people down. They are all working hard to make things better so please give them another chance.
Have the RB10 its a great buggy the shocks leak a little and different track conditions and a skilled driver and your incorrect about being competitive.
Not impressed with Rochester Rc at all it’s taken them 5 days to post out what I ordered, even tho they said it’s in stock, I’m assuming it wasn’t in stock and said it was in stock just so I’d part with my money not impressed at all
@@beyondRC yes I ordered middle of the week l, there is only one reason I can come up with, that is they never had it in stock so it’s being ordered in, then sent out to me, however it said it was in stock when I ordered
If you want to try racing more locally, get yourself down to sourlthend rccc. I have ran my RB10 around there on astro, 72 spur, 28t pinion, it is a great car.

My RC10B74.2 CE was fun to build. It took 3 days to complete. I never race it, I love bashing it around with my MT10 and MT8.
Awesome collaboration! Many thanks to Gavin and Rochester RC for sending me that sweet Datsun 240z through Raffall!
I would recommend lowering it and a 72 spur and 30 pinion, it keeps up with the big boys cars when racing
If you were to race it regularly on carpet, I'd recommend dedicated carpet tires and some stiffer springs and should be a lot easier to drive.
Looks like a great release by team associated. The regular size battery compartment is a big plus 👍.
100%
Oh no… I see someone building a race buggy to be competitive real soon

Will be coming back for sure to see it finished! Hopefully see you there at some point. Cheers

Cheers mate!

You guys are awesome! 😁

Looks like a great car to start racing 👍

Love it dude I have the street stick version the sr10 same chassis just different body
