Hi again another question I want to ask you I have been collecting coins for such a long time my dad did and so did my great-grandfather did so I have in my position a whole bunch of coins and I know that in my possession I have a lot of them they're worth a lot of money but I came across a penny from a huge bag that I have and it only has 19 I tried to look deep but there's no other number and Liberty it's missing the L I wanted to go grade them but that's like so much headache to me what do you think now again it only has the 19 and the L is missing from Liberty have a good day and take care of your voice
It might be a struck through grease error, where grease and metal dusdt from the minting press filled up the die in the affected areas.

@@worldnumismaticnews that's a better explanation to a coin having light stuck features. A coin shop said a piece of plastic being caught in between the planchet while being minted probably caused the "E" to be missing in my Bicentennial type 1 Eisenhower dollar.
I found one today -
"IN MY YARD"
With the date that matches yours. I don't have a scale, so I will take it to a Jeweler tomorrow.
Exciting!
Awesome!
Thanx for watching!
@@worldnumismaticnews I have one of them .
I had my weed guy weigh mine. More trustworthy than any jeweler.
@@worldnumismaticnews ok
Its been 3 years so did you find out about your penny?
It's all a matter of looking at change and rolls every chance you get. In 1960. when I was a boy, I fond a 1909 S VDB in change and haven't stopped looking since.
I found one that my husband had in a mug he had from the army,
I had no idea what I had found but remember that penny very well and even took a picture of it because I had never seen a coin that old, plus I was very young and had just got married, that was over 35 years ago and I wish I had never taken it out of that mug because it was lost and I still think about that dang penny often 😕 I just got into coins and pennies are my favorite.
I can't tell the difference between the dates? Is one raised print while the other is recessed?
I have one of those in my collection yaaay 😱😁😁😁
That's great!
Thanx for Watching!
I have a bright and shiny 1982D copper small date how do I go about having it graded ? Would you have an idea of the value of this coin the best I've seen is a 58 red.grade that if I remember wright sold for $18000 &something ?
Search for local dealers for grading or you can send them in to get graded, but I don't like that idea lol I would rather keep eyes on
I have a 1982 with the D how can I grade it or were should I look to grade it
Before you send it in for grading, weigh the coin first to see if it is copper. Also check the date to make sure it is the small date variety.
Thanx for watching
Where do I get the coin covers
I've asked around and have had no luck or positive input identifying this coin I have. It appears to be a bronze small date penny from Philadelphia. It weighs 3.08. The metal appears to be bronze and it smears instead of scratches. It's ugly but I was just curious if this was common.
I'm here because of the same coin, I doubt it's actually a small date. Look closely at the two
I actually have one too. It's a small date and weighs 3.1 grams. BTW I know its a small date because of the curved 2 and isn't straight like those large dates
I found one. You’ll hear about it later after I get it graded. I weighed it. 3.1g. I have a copper big date to compare the size of the date. It’s differently small date. Both are Denver.

I have a liberty coin 1 dime 1988-P but the P have different position?
I've been weighing 1982 D pennies and have several that weigh 3.01 g. Is this rare?
No I don’t think so,,, I found seven in my change and there all copper due to weight
@@rickl7024 I think 1982 plain is what their looking for. I still keep them incase they want 82 D. Lol
If it is a 1982 D "small date" it is rare...
The top of the "8" will be noticeably smaller in circumference.... the top will be a noticably smaller circle than the bottom circle & the "2" will have a lil' curve that starts just before the bottom half of the coin (if u could fold a penny in half, the curve on the "2" would start at the bottom half of the fold line)... the large date will have almost equal circles for the "8" and no curve at the bottom half of the "2", before the stop where both dates will have the straight line at the bottom...
If I'm seeing the penny that is featured correctly, that is a large date...
Wow very nice coin❤❤❤🙏
I found one 1982 D small date where do I sell it at
I have a 1982 D penny that looks to me as if the large date is punched over the small date. Unsure where to send a couple pictures.
We can take a look if you like. You can send the photos to me at numisman@ worldnumismaticnews. com

I have over 42, 1982 pennies in many different varieties and conditions. From the past three years my cherry picking of coins and currency exchange and coin roll hunting. Most are very, very extremely fine conditions. Most have small date and lot of them have DDO errors on them also -!!all our solid copper weighing over 3.1 g. I have a few examples that are not copper. Also, if anyone is interested in this, please let me know or if anyone has any suggestions of what I should do with them. Let me know that also please.

Good video Old friend
And I'd have to say that the 1982-D Copper/Bronze Penny, it is no doubt more rare then any other coin in the same class, and that include's the 1943 Copper/Bronze Penny.
I'm getting close to finding one, i can feel it. As of today, i have not had one in my hand. I started my search, day one, and have hunted through a Dual Tandem Dump Truck Load of pennies, (give are take a bucket full) i intend on finding a couple LOL"
When i do, you will be the second person to no.

Hi!my friend I have so many types coins collection, so can you tell me how do I get my coins to the auction so I like hearing from you so see you soon thank you
It does depend on which coins you have specifically. Although slabbed coins do fair better at auction, generally speaking. And you can ask the auction house to consign the coins, if they are interested.

Hey big numismatic, hey been searching for two yrs ! Found a 1972 penny, has a weight of 3.33grams. Must be rare as Heck!!! Please comment to help , can't find any news on it ? Anybody?
That's way outside of the Mint's tolerances for a penny. Interesting.

I'm pretty sure that I have that coin how can I get it appraised I live in Casper Wyoming to find out
Weigh the coin to see if it's copper, then check the date variety. If you are sure then send it in for authentication. The big TPG's usually have booths at big coin shows if you dont want to send it through the mail.

Hola. Todos esos pesos están perfectamente dentro de la tolerancia para la Casa de la US Mint. Verifique si alguna de esas monedas tiene la variedad "Small Date". Si lo hacen, entonces podría tener una moneda valiosa a mano.
