"It’s a Gungeon legend. Theodore of Ras was a Gungeoneer, so sharp-eyed and so quick-witted he could speed through the Gungeon at an incredible pace… He had such a knowledge of the Gungeon that he could even keep the wrath of Kaliber at bay. The way of speed is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was dying in the Forge, which eventually, of course, he did. Fortunately, he had been lucky enough to get a second chance- which he squandered as well. Ironic. He could fight at blazing speed, but not slow down before it killed him."
I read a theory that Sell Creep (green guy in shops) is defeated Agunim, who is sitting in Oubliette , which is actually a jail. He is collecting guns or looking for something special to resummon Cannon.
You know, that might explain the angry face he wears when you're playing the bullet. I always assumed it was just because the creep was a creature of the gungeon and the bullet is 'the betrayer'.
@@Nevernamed Ye, it's just speculations. But probably Sell Creep's damaged body is everything that have left after fight with Bullet with sword. Or, how i can explane it, he mutated in Oubliette. You know, Gungeon theories are weird
I really like the light world building in the world of gungeon! Bexause there are other gungeoneers aside from you (aka the pilot hunter etc) witch makes everything a bit more alive
Yo, thank you so much for the shout-out! Very interesting video too, quite funny how they actually put a character in the game's lore that references a real-life Gungeon player
3:36 i love it when a games lore is actuly so good that it reminds you at random, that the charictor you are playing is a certified bad-ass compared to the avrage adventurer. Even these minor mages would be horrifyingly scary for a normal adventurer who was not the main charictor to fight. Never mind ending the lives of gatling gull or the trigger twins. In fact after you kill the dragun. Not even the drunkard believes that you actually did such an impossible thing. I imagine runing into as I said trigger twins.as a normal everyday adventurer.would make that person shit themselves in fear. as these 10 foot tall eldritch horrors are not even the scariest thing in this hell. Remember the convict was sent to the gungoen as a twisted and fucked up method of SLOW AND VIOLENT EXECUTION. She just happened to be insanely badass
Didn't she propose the Gungeon herself as an alternative to incarceration? Her request was honoured as it wouldn't cost the hegemony any more money than prison.
It makes you wonder what happens to Gungeoneers that die and don't loop. Blockner says that "Death doesn't really matter in The Gungeon" implying that most people who die in the Gungeon just loop back to before they entered. However, why don't you see other Gungeoneers besides Blockner? And why did he turn into a ghost instead of looping? Does it have anything to do with the Clockhair?
I’m just a little confused. The Gungeon wraps its inhabitants into a time loop, from what I know... Well, not even just its inhabitants, but anybody on or around the planet. I assumed that was why the Gungeoneers always came back to life after failed runs. But you have Ser Manuel and Blockner who became ghosts and plenty of other Gungeoneers mentioned here that died and don’t show up in any other capacity. Strange.
I’ve gotten the unique line with the drunkard but I’ve never even seen a clone edit: I got the dialogue after dying to a boss with on,y the basic pistol
Well, the Gungeon's bricks are alive, as evidenced by the Snitch Brick... It was built by a Wizard in ages long forgotten, destroyed, and then rebuilt. At some point in the construction, architects were brought in, meaning the Wizard either sought hired help, or the cultists brought architects into their ranks... The walls didn't shift at first, instead starting to move during Woban's era of exploration. Aaaand thats all I can think of off the top of my head.
I find it interesting how the gungeon was designed to be so ancient that dozens of others have come before you the gun knight gear blockner and the tutorial guy old red and the old king really interesting how theres and entire history before you
So, I just have a question about why the monster ball making the Beholster blink saved the guy. I know the Beholster only has one eye, but does blinking hurt him? Otherwise, I liked your joke about saying a “king fellow borrowed the ice kings heart” And, I may be wrong. But the way the gungeon works is every time you die you have to restart your journey, until you can kill your past. So technically, wouldn’t all the characters who parished still be alive?
It's something I've considered. I generally use the official Gungeon Discord server, just not under my UA-cam name. I honestly can't recommend it though, since it's surprisingly toxic.
"Have you heard the tragedy of Theodore or Ras? I thought not. It's not a story the bullet kin would tell you."

I loved how you visualised the story behind the bundle of wands and hexgun. :P
That's what took the majority of the time while making the video to be honest. But I think it was worth it.
@@Nevernamed yes, it was :D
Was totally worth it

Mayyyybe.
The main problems would be the differences in design between the two.
Fingers.
Ears (and lack thereof)
Et cetera.

Apparently, that's in the physical ammomicon. Can anyone who owns it verify?
The shopkeeper (lady/robot) mentions if you have seen her sister (implying the green thing is her sister)
I think the blink that happened to the beholster with the monster ball is what made the glitched beholster
extremely based pfp

5:11 Remember than overconfidence its a slow and insidious killer

I really love these lore vids thanks for doing them and making them entertaining
I can 100% confirm that the activation has nothing to do with clone. I got the dialogue without ever having picked up the clone.

2:55 I got that quote and I don’t even have the clone
Hero pig
I've heard the quote at 2:00 in. No idea how to trigger it, but it has nothing to do with clone because I haven't even unlocked it yet.
I got from defeating the dark magician
I’ve gotten the unique line with the drunkard but I’ve never even seen a clone edit: I got the dialogue after dying to a boss with on,y the basic pistol
He noscoped the gungeoneer
I think that a video about materials and the construction of the Gungeon would be interesting
Well, the Gungeon's bricks are alive, as evidenced by the Snitch Brick...
It was built by a Wizard in ages long forgotten, destroyed, and then rebuilt.

5:04 Is that a Cormorant modded gungerneer, cuz I want it
You can get him by having all his armor pieces
Oh! Titanium Grunt! I know him, he's pretty cool, so I second your vote
Why is cormorant named after a bird
Don’t mess with magic apprentices. Like my lunatic devotes. Or my blue cultist archers.
You're literally a granite golem
You've really upped the production value lad! The visuals are so much more interesting now!
The way you trigger that dialog with the drunked is you just use a iron coin and make it to that room it was used for
I find it interesting how the gungeon was designed to be so ancient that dozens of others have come before you the gun knight gear blockner and the tutorial guy old red and the old king really interesting how theres and entire history before you
I like the visualized characters. Plz do it more.
I SWEAR I've gotten that quote from the Drunkard.
I think I had the Theodore of ras quote and at the time I thought it may have actually been the drunkard
Titanium Grunt really is pretty nice. I just hope he makes something snow-related someday.
Also it turns out that I saw his deviant art yesterday... coincidence? Probably
Your BEST video yet
Have you ever heard the tragedy of Darth Theodore the Gungeoneer?
I think the master Gunjurer became the high priest
I believe the master gunjurer is now the dark magician who was cursed because of his murder.
I got that message from the blue lizard, can't remember how
Hmmm monster ball... sounds like a pokemon reference to me.
I got the Theodore of Ras diolauge without the clone
Theador ran, I accidentally triggerd this and did not have the clone so idk
2:25 actually triggered this i think not too sure
Nice
What about the cultist
So, I just have a question about why the monster ball making the Beholster blink saved the guy. I know the Beholster only has one eye, but does blinking hurt him?

They are dead for everyone else in that timeline or something ;3
The gungerer = high priest
You should remake your old videos with your voice
you should get a discord
It's something I've considered.
