I've learned when using zip ties, especially, if they're going outdoors, to use the more sturdy zip ties. The hot sun will eventually dry rot the thinner cheaper ones, and, your greenery and/or your embellishments/decorations/bows, etc., will come loose and fall off. Just a little tip. Some do NOT know that. I've been making wreaths for many years. Use to work in a nursery and florist, as well. I try to pass along my own experience and things I've learned from others. No pun intended. Just trying to help others, who are just starting out. Your wreaths are nice by the way. Since swags have gotten higher, it's not so cheap to make them anymore. If prices keep going up. Oh well, those 40 to 50% discounts, sure help out.
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a method to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my password. I would love any assistance you can offer me
@Ahmad Harold Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Iv made 5 wreaths made from wire ring cost £5 65 for Amazon for 10 5 ready ready for next year I used decoration from my old swag flowers and berry's you can put bows on some I also put fresh roses on them at the cemetery did the same for 5 swags furs I cut from the garden holly also looks lovely so pleased with them I'm 72 can't afford £60 £70 but feels it something I must do every year (and all birthday s) have a go I'm not cleaver with my hands every thing cost with roses under £9.00
Where did you get the garland that you used to make the wreath for your front porch, and what is it called. It turned out beautiful, thank you for sharing.
FYI, you can get a wire wreath form at Dollar Tree in a couple shapes and sizes, and they are green. That would be a perfect mount for a Garland Wreath... Then!!! You can use your Grapevine Wreath, and you can leave it as is and decorate, or you can - Gloss is with a spray sealer, sprays paint it high gloss Red, or foam brush some stain and then seal it. And get out your box of misc decorations, ornaments, or, any items to create the effect you want for the location - You've got 2 wreaths - for $1 and any paint cost - Even items like a few flowers and greenery- light area on bottom right, add faux grapes and wine charms; various costume jewelry and some pearls; 1 short string battery operated lights and some real Boxwood and red shiny faux berries and a cream satin ribbon. Just using what around the house.; or - glue gun Sea Shells and spray glue a little area or 2 and sprinkle sand and fine glitter and drape with faux pearls and finish with a Fav ribbon -,light single bow. And autograph you work!
Hey Beth, you know what would go great with your idea?? How about make YOUR OWN video. No one cares about your idea. If we did, we’d be on your channel. Good day! 😁
Except it wasn't cheap. $20 for one garland & $25 for the other garland plus $15 for the vine wreath I make that $60 altogether.. It would have been cheaper to buy one. Lol.
I bought the grapevine for $2.00 Originally $4.00 on sale 50% off. The garlands were also 50% off. Sometimes it's helpful to watch and LISTEN to the videos.
