File a dental negligence compensation claim. Please research this. They are delaying the process of treatment for you. They are in the wrong. Next time you go into the dental office, request a copy of the progress report sheet and everything they've done thus far. Make sure they provide a report for every appointment. Request copies of your x-rays too. That'll help them take you seriously. Don't make them aware why you're requesting them. Simply say it's for your record.

I am in the dental field and how you are being treated is not acceptable! I’m so sorry you are going through this stress. Trust me when I say there are offices that truly care about their patients🫶🏼. You do not need to have cleanings done through them. We have (not many) patients that go elsewhere for cleaning but have their braces done by us. So them sayin you HAVE TO get cleanings there is a LIE. In all this process have you seen the dentist or spoken to them? I’m assuming every time you go in you are seeing dental assistants. If you haven’t met with the actual dentist (cause I know it’s confusing but not everyone at the office is a dentist they are mostly dental assistants) as to speak to the dentist and state all this that is happening. If you have met with the dentist and they do not care, well babe I’d advise you to take your business elsewhere, to an office who actually cares for their patients. Many other offices will be understanding of your situation. Look up reviews of the offices first and look up info on the dentists as well. Now the financial part of it I’m unsure as I know nothing about that department. I hope you get the help you need, keep your head up.

I had 2 of my teeth like yours pushed really back and my ortho was able to keep the wire on, I saw progress within weeks, so I know that it’s possible, they are not doing there job right. You should of already seen progress by now. I’m so sorry your going thru this, I hope things get better for you ❤️

Girl i had a situation when my inlaw was trying to take in control of everything including my children thats when i was yea ok F this, that's when things got bad i wasn't having it. I have alot of stories, Yes we fought long story but At end, i cut her and her son out but now years later now we are more civil but things are definitely not the same since the trust isn't the same. My kids father and I are together and trying to work things out, but not gonns lie we been through alot to get where we at now. All I can say anyone going through it, put your foot down and the "Son" needs to also put foot down and let the mom know with respect they doing too much and crossing the boundaries. Don't be afraid to cut them out until they learn to respect your boundaries. Don't tolerate no disrespect at all. So yes a mother in law that is toxic can mess up a relationship if you and her son allow it to do so. I thank God we're passed that.

i had that problem with my braces the bracket detaching from my tooth. they literally had to bend the wire and add what they called a “spring” so idk if your dentist offers that

$250 for a cleaning ??? Idk if it’s the type of cleaning you’re getting or what but that’s a lot. I worked at a dentist office mind you I’m in Houston tx and we charged 109 for 2 cleanings (prophy’s) is what we call them. I suggest changing dentist offices not just because of the prices but the customer service is horrible and if the girl couldn’t help you do what she is supposed to do then they should’ve put you with someone else!
I'm sure it depends on where you live on the pricing as well. I pay close to like $270 for two cleanings a year, including the X-rays once a year. So who knows lol but she's definitely over paying imo 😢
Definitely report them I have braces and everytime I go I see the doctor always no matter what and if I need to cancel I can all I have to do is call in a certain time and if it too late my fee is 25 I believe definitely report them or just stop paying until they do something about it !!
For dentist request a talk with head dentist. explain to them the tooth is the top priority and you want a treatment plan focused on that. If they cant make progress tell them you want to be referred to somebody that can and you will need a partial refund for future services they cant give you in that clinic. You have to be an advocate for yourself but also know how to express it in an effective way. A man should not tell his woman “dont stress” or calm down when she is really going through it. Her feelings are justified. She has a right to be upset and angry. Try saying “I get it. Im on yourside. We will figure this out together” “youre not wrong” instead of trying to force her to hide her distress. She will get over it faster when family has her back then when family is focusing on trying to quiet her. Just saying ❤ ✌️

I’m 22 & the dentist claimed I had to get 2 teeth removed from the top in order for my smile to be fixed bc I had an extra tooth on my top left side.. it’s been 2 years and the gap from the tooth they removed on the right side hasn’t closed one bit.. but the tooth that was on my top left is now fully down. I feel they should’ve just removed 1. But the dentist insisted & I was dumb to not ask around first. I know how much of a big insecurity it can be. A lot of $$$ wasted. Wish I never did it too. On the bright side. My sister got braces earlier this year. She’s been happy with her results. They’re using the Damon System on her. A little more pricey, but I believe it can be worth it for you. Search & see around if they do that in your area 🙏❤️
I had a tooth in the back it was difficult cause it kept coming off i sleep with my teeth clenched and it would pop off the only way i got it fixed was every once in a while i would push it myself with my finger or tongue it hurts A LOT!!! but I think that helped my tooth move forward
I’m an ortho assistant and we’ve had many cases like this. If that bracket kept popping off there’s other ways your Dr could’ve done so that tooth could move. Trust me she should be seeing movement by now.
Are you going through insurance? You can file grievance against office . You may be able appeal the billing . If you can I would look for another doctor. Good idea to call bank and see u dispute charges
I have complicated work to do & this is what im scared of they said they have to take off teeth and i said no u dont all they want is money i started embracing my gang sign teeth 😂 i had crooked teeth then i was abused and 2 of em broke in half they said its real complicated & i feel like it aint its not hard to put braces and once straight fix the broken ones and they want to do it all at once while taking all my 8 front teeth out. I've seen them put a bracket behind the tooth to pull it forward on somebody before because it kept popping off like yours when they had it on the front of the tooth. Ask them if they could do that for you.

Sis, I feel your pain with the dentist. My teeth are literally falling out at the very beginning of my dentist journey they told me that I had some kind of gum disease called gengvitis and they said for the full treatment was gonna cost me $7000. I was paying them and coming to the treatments and after 7 months my teeth literally started to fall out. I go rushing back to the dentist and they said oh this is normal. No it's not normal teeth do not just fall out. Then they said that I need to get every single teeth pulled and fake teeth put in and that it was gonna cost 24,000$$$. And that they couldn't start the work until I finished paying off the $7,000. So now here I am at only 35 years old with basically no teeth in my mouth. I can't eat right because it hurts, I can't smile, I lost all of my confidence. I don't have 24,000$ to pay for the procedure. So I know your pain of going to a dentist and not seeing the results that they promise to you sis.
My sister had the same tooth problem and they had to make space for it not just pull it forward her whole thing went smooth so idk why they having issues they clearly don’t know what they doing…you need to look for a better office and def report that office.

My kids father and I are together and trying to work things out, but not gonns lie we been through alot to get where we at now. All I can say anyone going through it, put your foot down and the "Son" needs to also put foot down and let the mom know with respect they doing too much and crossing the boundaries. Don't be afraid to cut them out until they learn to respect your boundaries. Don't tolerate no disrespect at all. So yes a mother in law that is toxic can mess up a relationship if you and her son allow it to do so. I thank God we're passed that.

lol I been with my husband for 19 years and I’ve literally said 10 words to my mother in law!!! I refuse to even give her the time of day!!! And yes im a boys mom meaning I have boys and think all the time about how I would be how I would feel but I would never be how my mother in law is with me to my sons spouse !!! My son is 18 and I do make it clear to him I have to get along with the girl but I have to do my part as well!!!

i had that problem with my braces the bracket detaching from my tooth. they literally had to bend the wire and add what they called a “spring” so idk if your dentist offers that

$250 for a cleaning ??? Idk if it’s the type of cleaning you’re getting or what but that’s a lot. I worked at a dentist office mind you I’m in Houston tx and we charged 109 for 2 cleanings (prophy’s) is what we call them. I suggest changing dentist offices not just because of the prices but the customer service is horrible and if the girl couldn’t help you do what she is supposed to do then they should’ve put you with someone else!
I'm sure it depends on where you live on the pricing as well. I pay close to like $270 for two cleanings a year, including the X-rays once a year. So who knows lol but she's definitely over paying imo 😢

Definitely report them I have braces and everytime I go I see the doctor always no matter what and if I need to cancel I can all I have to do is call in a certain time and if it too late my fee is 25 I believe definitely report them or just stop paying until they do something about it !!

For dentist request a talk with head dentist. explain to them the tooth is the top priority and you want a treatment plan focused on that. If they cant make progress tell them you want to be referred to somebody that can and you will need a partial refund for future services they cant give you in that clinic. You have to be an advocate for yourself but also know how to express it in an effective way.
A man should not tell his woman “dont stress” or calm down when she is really going through it. Her feelings are justified. She has a right to be upset and angry. Try saying “I get it. Im on yourside. We will figure this out together” “youre not wrong” instead of trying to force her to hide her distress. She will get over it faster when family has her back then when family is focusing on trying to quiet her. Just saying ❤ ✌️

Its honestly sad that they dont care about you as a patient. They are keeping you as a patient because you pay out of pocket. Its definitely convenient for them to charge you these crazy amounts knowing you will pay out of pocket. Definitely speak up girl or find a different clinic that treats their patients better! I’m 22 & the dentist claimed I had to get 2 teeth removed from the top in order for my smile to be fixed bc I had an extra tooth on my top left side.. it’s been 2 years and the gap from the tooth they removed on the right side hasn’t closed one bit.. but the tooth that was on my top left is now fully down. I feel they should’ve just removed 1. But the dentist insisted & I was dumb to not ask around first. I know how much of a big insecurity it can be. A lot of $$$ wasted. Wish I never did it too.
On the bright side. My sister got braces earlier this year. She’s been happy with her results. They’re using the Damon System on her. A little more pricey, but I believe it can be worth it for you. Search & see around if they do that in your area 🙏❤️

I had a tooth in the back it was difficult cause it kept coming off i sleep with my teeth clenched and it would pop off the only way i got it fixed was every once in a while i would push it myself with my finger or tongue it hurts A LOT!!! but I think that helped my tooth move forward
I’m an ortho assistant and we’ve had many cases like this. If that bracket kept popping off there’s other ways your Dr could’ve done so that tooth could move. Trust me she should be seeing movement by now.

Are you going through insurance? You can file grievance against office . You may be able appeal the billing . If you can I would look for another doctor. Good idea to call bank and see u dispute charges
I have complicated work to do & this is what im scared of they said they have to take off teeth and i said no u dont all they want is money i started embracing my gang sign teeth 😂 i had crooked teeth then i was abused and 2 of em broke in half they said its real complicated & i feel like it aint its not hard to put braces and once straight fix the broken ones and they want to do it all at once while taking all my 8 front teeth out. I still get attention from every angle im just going to embrace them till i find a good dentist
I've seen them put a bracket behind the tooth to pull it forward on somebody before because it kept popping off like yours when they had it on the front of the tooth. Ask them if they could do that for you.
Stop going there and stop paying them, simple. Your smile is beautiful.
There’s plenty of other places you can go. Don’t be afraid to break contract.

Sis, I feel your pain with the dentist. My teeth are literally falling out at the very beginning of my dentist journey they told me that I had some kind of gum disease called gengvitis and they said for the full treatment was gonna cost me $7000. I was paying them and coming to the treatments and after 7 months my teeth literally started to fall out. I go rushing back to the dentist and they said oh this is normal. No it's not normal teeth do not just fall out. Then they said that I need to get every single teeth pulled and fake teeth put in and that it was gonna cost 24,000$$$. And that they couldn't start the work until I finished paying off the $7,000. So now here I am at only 35 years old with basically no teeth in my mouth. I can't eat right because it hurts, I can't smile, I lost all of my confidence. I don't have 24,000$ to pay for the procedure. So I know your pain of going to a dentist and not seeing the results that they promise to you sis.
