It's so crazy that Messi, considered by many as the best footballer currently (all time by some) is going to the team bottom of the MLS, that also lost to 19th place Vasco da Gama from Brazil. Honestly hope he doesn't just end it there, but would understand if he did as well.
They are only last because David Beckham put phil neville as manager and they have constructed a roster surrounding a good number 10, which they didn't have until now. Also finishing 7th gets you into the playoffs so the season doesn't really matter until the end of the season how good you do.
I am romanian and I love the "Romania this week" section. For the next vid, you should look into the story of the champions this season, Farul Constanta. Probably the only club owner in the world that has won the first division as a coach being also a legend of footbal, Gheorghe Hagi. And moreover, he started profesional footbal in this club half a century ago. Also there was an oldies match Romania all stars vs Galatsaray, just few days ago. See the long shot that Hagi blasted into the top bar. Would make a nice section next time. Love yr vids. Keep it up.
I don't see the big deal with Messi going to the MLS. He's proved time and time again he's one of the greatest players to ever play the sport, and at this age he probably just wants to play without insane expectations every single season. Going to a lower league like the MLS gives him a chance to just enjoy football, the sport that he loves.
I knew Messi would go to Inter Miami- I guessed it two years ago and I was right! It’s a stepping stone to his ultimate return to Newell’s Old Boys. But yes Messi in America and Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia does mean today was the day that the Messi-Ronaldo era died! What a golden age of European football now has passed and finally the final chapter has been written and now the history books can be closed for the final time. June 2023 was the year the two modern goats (metaphorically) died. What a time it was to be a football fan! And as we watch them fade into the sunset we all thank them for the memories as the start to join the modern retired greats like Xavi, Iniesta, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Robben, Drogba, Henry, Petite, Ribery and now Zlatan (and so so so many more). It’s a day to reminisce on what was great and not cry about what we’ve now lost in our world. Gracias and obrigado to Messi and Ronaldo- no one will ever even touch the rivalry they had for over two decades!
And the only hope left was Inter Milan right now. Also, the national team had the U-20 World Cup Final the day after the Istanbul Showdown, and in the next week it was the reigning Euro champions' turn to win the Nations League.
