Shout-out to Torquay and their promotion back to the National League. You guys were fantastic hosts to us when we played you in the FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round. Good luck next season, from a Winchester City fan.
We (Luton Town) we’re so arrogant when we went down to non-league. It wasn’t until we started to respect the league, and those teams within it that we finally managed to get back.
Seeing Oxford UTD mentioned reminded me of when the Mighty Liverpool signed John Aldrige from them to replace Ian Rush. I think they were in the 3rd Division then. He was a great stiker in the 1st division. These days, the top division teams wouldn't even think of a 3rd Division team to buy a a player from.
Jrjo_4 z other teams deserve it more than Bournemouth, 8000 fans a match is pathetic compared to the likes of Leeds, West Brom, Fulham that are going up- villa who stayed up and even my club bolton who will be in league 2 next season

Wish we did it that quickly... bloody 12 years of national league football now for us... and its absoluetly torture... So if your are a notts Fan or Yeovil fan you better hope you get out in your first or second season otherwise you are stuck there and never leave 😔

Weren't Oxford the first ever league Cup winners to be relegated to non league? Would that make Notts County the first FA Cup winners to go down there?
OK so I did a bit of research. There are quite a few early FA cup winners who no longer exist such as Clapham Rovers and some that play in non league or amateur leagues like Old Etonians. Spurs won their first FA Cup final when still a non-league club and are the only team to do so.
I remember going to the league one playoff semi final of Nottingham forest vs Yeovil in 2007 and them winning to go on to the final crazy to think there now not even in league 2

A surprising number went bust, and I think there's only 2 or 3 still at Step 5 - I'd need to re-check. I know that at least one of them are in the Welsh system now (Bangor City)
The founding members of The Conference or to be precise the Alliance Premier League 1979-80 were: AP Leamington, Altrincham, Bangor City, Barnet, Barrow, Bath City, Boston UTD, Gravesend and Northfleet, Kettering Town, Maidstone UTD, Northwich Victoria, Nuneaton Borough, Redditch UTD, Scarborough, Stafford Rangers, Telford UTD, Wealdstone, Weymouth, Worcester City, Yeovil Town. Altrincham finished as champions but there was no promotion to the Football League at the time, and Redditch finished bottom of the league and were the only club to be relegated to level 6.
You will be in the AFC Rushden & Diamonds U15 squad, a phoenix club and a separate entity to the original Rushden & Diamonds FC which folded. So technically, yes they are extinct Tate.
