Awesome work. Greatings from Hamburg and Lüneburg. Clubsounds in trance in the end of 90´s here. Very very nice and fat... Thx alot for beaming me back this time by the first sounds you play.
Claudio you are a very good musician, and I love your passion for electronic keyboards, I suffer from this disease too. lol Thanks for Moog, and the wink at Vangelis. merci beaucoup . JPaul from Québec Canada.
Thank you so much!!! It's a good oportunity to see how Minimoog Works :3 And even it's monophonic, it can be versatily in melodies, bass lines and effects. Thank you :)
Very cool your videos. Very instructive, I really like the band Asia, there's an intro by them that was played on minimoog, to my surprise.. I really like the sound of this intro. "Only Time You Tell"
You were having fun with retro hardware so was I but my retro hardware was a computer that I've just got working, it is a modded ZX Spectrum +2 with a built-in power supply and a switched plug. I love retro tech.
Abraxis12 Gaming That's why the Rolli Seaboard was invented, it actually allowes you to bend the keyboard in unique ways and it really brings the Human element into electronic music.
@@RetroPlus Yes. That thing is amazing, but it has a steep learning curve. When you aren't trying to vibrato, or add a bend, sometimes it just happens. And that can be ok... But sometimes you just need to play the note or chord plain. With practice it gets easy. At least, that's my experience with it.
Dear Doctor Mix, can you PLEASE do a remake of Queen's RADIO GAGA? I'm gonna marry within a few weeks and would like to surprise my fiancee Merel with it. We always watch your video's together and enjoy every single one (especially the live ones). It would be really special for us and I will be so graceful. The synthbass and pads of the intro of Radio Gaga are so great!! It is a master piece and definitely deserves a remake done by you! We as your viewers will do the clap clap sounds for you from behind ours computers and phones ;-) I believe the drums part was done on Linn Drum and the synth bass is a Kurzweil, but am not 100%. This is the song that inspired Steffani Germanotti to call herself Lady Gaga. Greetz, Dusty
Oxygen IV was created on the CMI Fairlight V, Ravel's Bolero which Jayne Torvil and Christopher Dean skated to at the Lake Placid Winter Olympics,I think that KRAFTWORK used the WERSI GMBH keyboard.
Hey Doc;). I have “Big” request!!! Scissors Sister’s......I don’t feel like dancing!! The synth work and groove is tremendous! Fills good inside when you listen I would love to see and hear you break that wonderful track down for us!!!;) please🙏🏻
You effin rock man :D Have you any experience with the Knas Ekdahl Moisturizer? I use mine with a Behringer D, I bet it would sound orgasmic with your Moog
@@Doctormix Many thanks for your reply as it was difficult to see with the lighting in the background. I thought it may have been an old Roland 'Space Echo' at first. I am feeling nostalgic now! Looking forward to some more live streams. Please keep up the good work.

This was great! Thanks for letting us join in with you exploring this beautiful instrument! :)

I about pissed my pants. That was funny. Intentional comedy or not, that was brilliant.
Abraxis12 Gaming We've all tried to do that at some point.
@@RetroPlus I know. I have done it too! You can't help it. The artist always tries to come out.

hey, i'm looking for a good quality keyboard but under 500 €, what do you suggest?
If you're looking for a synth, I just bought a KORG Minilogue for only around $370 and it's pretty flexible for what it is. I highly recommend it.
