great showcase man, and it looks like a solid controller too. have been looking for a new controller for my pc ever since my stock ps5 controller took a shit a while ago. it's definitely unfortunate that it doesn't have those fancy joysticks but if the rest of the controller is that nice i'm for sure going to give it a try
1. I saw the extra parts in the box and thought "MODULAR CONTROLLER!" That would be neat to have the ability to relocate the pads, sticks, and buttons. That's something that needs to exist. You're smart so I'll let you take the lead on that. 3. The return sound the shoulder buttons make is one of my biggest irks in electronics. No the sound of the switch, the sound of the button itself returning to its starting point. That spring meets plastic sound. Ugh. J. The comment about not making eye contact with the old controller made me LOL so suddenly it would have woken Dog, were he still here. It made me think of someone quitting their job and telling everyone to kiss their ass then having to go back in because you forgot your car keys. "SUCK IT, Wendy's!" ... "Um, hey. Sooo, has anyone seen a Detroit Lions keychain?" Ж. I suck at making lists.
Modulars exist! Thrustmaster makes a good one 'Eswap.' Yeah: the sounds aren't for everyone so I like to try and share that when able. It's def a bit different in that department. I don't follow Football so I'll assume the Detroit Lions are run down like the auto industries of the 80's-90's 🤣
@@EightSixMatt -- Damn. Shots fired. I haven't watched NFL since about 2004 when I sold my TV. Still love the lions, though. Regarding the eswap -- I meant more of a swap locations/change input types. Say, you could swap out the d-pad for a N64-type stick, or change the location of the ABXY buttons. So, you're not off the hook yet. Get busy 😛
@EightSixMatt Fair enough, I play a lot of fighting games and platformers so I'll figure out if I I like it almost immediately and definitely within the return window.

Let me know what you think if you give it a shot!

Awesome review. I'm a bit of a collector when it comes to controllers. I got to say I like what I see I'm probably going to have to pick this one up.
All I would note is the d-pad is either love or hate here. I like it a lot, but it would seem some people just do not.

@@WilsonL15 @ me after/if you do I wanna see what you think. (I also use a (custom) hitbox for fighters :D)
@EightSixMatt I've used fight sticks all my life I'm trying to give hitboxes a shot but I'm having a hard time adjusting to it.
