Here’s my theory for the ending.
Lumine goes to finish off childe because she thinks she can end the game with just her and aether. She manages to kill childe but what she didn’t know was aether hadn’t been eating or drinking and left all the resources for her, so when she got back he was already gone 😔

I assume Tartaglia recognized the most challenging sparring partner which were Lumine & Aether at the first day
So that's why he stayed quiet and then unleashed his unhinged bloodthirsty personality when girlboss approached him to battle for death

I thought that Lumine might win and I was right. Also, for the twins snuggling, isn't that something you can do with people you care about? It doesn't have to be romantic, it's like siblings keeping each other company. At least neither had to kill each other.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Aether chose dying of a natural chaos so he wouldn’t have to kill Lumine and she wouldn’t have to live with killing him. They either shared one final night together 😭

Now if this were a "realistic" HG with them and not a randomizer, I wonder who would actually win.
Presumably, the Archons are exempt as Venti can just disappear, Zhongli can just shield himself and Ei just instantly kills anyone else closer to her than Kazuha.
That done, I'd say Aloy (sorry, Koomax), Razor, Yelan, Ganyu, Childe or Keqing seem the most likely to win, assuming Klee doesn't blow everything up at the start.
Less likely winners but still plausible, any of the Mondstadt adults, Albedo, Fischl, Beidou, Xiao, Sara, either Kamisato or the Sango resistance all seem reasonable.
The no chance in hell is Bennett, he dies from accidently eating berries or stepping on someone's mine. Itto also probably does something stupid and bites it early. Qiqi is going up in flames at some point.

I think if Bennett knocks himself out with his mysterious stew he would win because his bad luck completely goes away and he has much better luck when he is not awake he could win.

@@moodystella4978 I, right, forgot about Shenhe. To be fair, she might starve though. She doesn't eat normal food and survives on foraged items. Seeing as everything in the HG arena is genetically modified, there us a very high chance of her eating something poisonous. Barring that, I can see her being a "high" chance of winning.

This makes me think that since Chongyun wasn't there, Xingqiu decided to not hold back which lead to him to Gaslight, Gatekeep, and Girlboss the competition until he got ahead of himself.
Also, I wonder how Chongyun and Heizou would fare in the next game?
I think he lost he's edge after sparing yoimiya.

Wangsheng is the organiser/sponsor for the games and Zhongli was the guy who was sent into the games to make sure everything was going to plan from the inside but he ended up dying
Maybe in the finale of the Genshin Hunger Games we have Zhongli revive or something (or maybe his faked his death in the first episode) and Hu Tao joins as like the final boss

As much as I was rooting for Xingqui, I felt like there was no way he would’ve won-
I can imagine a really dramatic art piece of Lumine on her way to kill Xingqui as well, like “you’ve ended so many lives, and for what?” Or smth
I mean, it's better if he was killed that way and he didn't kill Aether beforehand or it would've been way worse.
It's so fitting too bc Xingqiu is all about honor and not about harming innocent people.
I headcanon he came to a realization after trying to study months in advance on how to go about this peacefully for everyone, but eventually the pressure and the sheer improbity of a pacifist ending broke him.
Thus he gave into survival and thought the most aggressive route would lead him to victory.
Really wish this narrative this simulator makes was a bit more coherent. People in teams should be referenced together until they split up. Weapons and supplies individuals get are also tracked. Etc etc... Itto falling in a pit though was *premium

Here's some of the things that've happened in my genshin hunger games:
Rosaria overhears Razor and Gorou talking in the distance.
Ayato catches Ayaka off-guard and kills her.
Chongyun finds Xingqiu hiding in the cornucopia, but Xingqiu kills him.
Fischl fishes.
Also, the two rounds I've done are ones where Thoma and Sucrose won, here are their kill counts:
Thoma: Kill Count 5
- Shot Childe with a poisonous slow-killing blow dart to the neck.
- Bashed Lisa's head in with a mace.
- Set off an explosion, killing Yun Jin, Ayato and Sucrose.
Sucrose: Kill Count 6
- Set off an explosion, killing Ei.
- Silently snapped Bennett's neck.
- Strangled Xiao after engaging in a fistfight with him.
- Set off another explosion, killing Mona and Diluc.
- Laid a trap that killed Albedo.

You can also modify your own events, which is a fun thing to try if you want to spice up some things. I added a fatui ambush as one of the arena events, and also some casual things like befriending bees. There's a lot of fun with it, i love this site and how flexible and random it is.
I love when you get someone popping off and then they randomly manage to die in the dumbest way, like go off king, slay queen sleep on the wrong side of the rock and break your neck. It's so random and fun. I wonder if you'll make more in the future.
