A hotel where you don't have to talk to anyone. A restaurant where you don't have to talk to anyone. A perfect place for introverts like me. Yep. God, I miss Japan.
@@William0271 Yes, it is entirely the fault of introverts as to why birth rates are declining on a global scale. I missed it a lot as well, spent 2 years and a half in nihon, and in Tokyo on the pandemic outbreak, it was so peaceful, and those capsule hotels were 8 bucks a night so I actually lived there for many weeks lol

I really wish America had more quiet restaurants. It's like sometimes it's ok for them to be social experiences, but as Toast said, sometimes you just want to eat in peace. *Edit:* I thought people would understand what I'm saying, but of course there's those that suggest an alternative that would be missing the point. If I wanted to entirely cut out the possibility of any social interaction, I would eat at home and not suggest what I did. My point however is that restaurants are too pushy for a fake experience. I want to be in a social environment without fake smiles or people chatting just because it's their job. I want a place where people can naturally have conversation, but also can choose to be left alone without asking to be alone. *Edit #2:* Quiet is not the same as silence. Look up "quiet vs silent" *Edit #2.1 Electric Boogaloo:* This suggestion is ideal for both introverts and extroverts. As the way restaurants are now in most places only suits extroverts.
I'm sure if clothes are provided in pod hotels, they're meant to be as an alternative to pajamas for business workers that check in late at night from the office and have no spare clothes. So, Toast might have jogged out there in pajamas.
Usually that is the case, however, at this specific capsule hotel because it is so close to the imperial place, they offer various running options for guests. It’s the “gimmick” of this capsule hotel. Many of the different 9h nine hour capsule brand hotels have themes like this
really dig this new style of content and I feel it really mirrors the creator's more laid back personality who after years of grind finally have freedom to be able to create in his own pace. That being said I'd love to see laid back toast on the Sunrise seto, I feel done right it'll be the most comfortable watch ever. Cheers
I second this!!! I hope he covers the Sunrise Seto, though if he’s on the travel pass I doubt it would happen unless he managed to make the reservation months earlier.
I love that kind of restaurant so much. I hope people would realize that eating alone doesn't mean you dont have friends to eat with. I like eating alone so that would be perfect for me.
Exactly. Some of my most vivid memories are from awkward restaurant experiences. One time I walked into a BBQ place alone and it seemed like everyone turned to look at me as if I was a weirdo. And then another time I went to this place where they cook the food right in front of you and they group up people at the same cooking area. Because I was alone, I got stuck with a whole group that was together, and they got stuck with me. Super awkward.
I like this video, it's so chill and I feel like Toast is "closer" to us than usual. If I went to Japan, I would've been more likely to do those 2 things than go shopping for example.

If you ever just wanted to escape it all what better place than Japan. And I saw a lot of English. English at the restaurant, English at the hotel. That's really good for tourists. I don't think I'll ever get tired of hearing about Japan and seeing what it looks like. Especially when I get to see the calm and cozy side of it. Very relaxing. Also at the end i'm glad he included the part where he took the camera back because i was just thinking that when he's done filming he's gonna have to open up the shade and get that camera lol. But thankfully he didn't have to worry anybody stealing it since i hear it's rare for that sort of thing to happen over there. Truly a magical place.
