  • It's just my opinion! these aren't mine, they are loaned to me for written articles and I'm totally independent to say what I like. My primary role and full-time job is to produce written reviews but UA-cam and social media is growing quickly so please follow me on Facebook, “Chris Parkin’s Shooting Sports”. Or Instagram “chrisparkin431” for regular updates on what I am using and what’s in for review? I do not organise special setups for smooth video; you get real world footage of my experiences with the products in question. This is MY OPINION, yours may differ. Mine is based on twelve years of published reviews for magazines in England, U.S. Europe and Scandinavia. I have no reason to say nice things about what I have invested or wasted my own income in, I just say it how I think it when I encounter it. If you like this channel and would like to help support the reviews via PayPal, please use... www.paypal.com... ...and contribute to a growing video channel with regular updates.

Great video! I tested this for a DK magazine, and had most of the same reactions that you did. The simplicity of the TI is really an underrated selling point.
I tested it mostly from a stand hunting hogs at night, and the contrast, auto-off and fast updating screen makes it a great unit for that type of stationary hunting in dense(ish) forests.
    Thanks for the video!

Great video - would you have this over the Hik Lynx 19? In the market - have no need to video / record and less interest in learning.the clarinet!! .... I know the Kahles is more expensive but seems better to hold off for it over the Hik.

I love the look of the unit and I havent been fortunate to use HQ thermal Binoculars yet but I do like a monocular myself as I can keep one eye open if I want to to see what's going on.....my Kahles scope has some of the best glass I've looked through so I can imagine with decent thermal kit inside it will take some beating.

I'd love to try one , use a pulsar xq50 good piece of kit but is overally complicated at times , and doesn't go down enough in mag X . I find 4x is plenty for scanning and Identifying most quarry at most ranges. Also does suffer when the image passes onto the skyline not ideal when you live in the mountains 😅.
