I love that Shane Pinto is having a career year after being suspended for half of the season. I have been a fan of his since college so I hope he keeps this up.

That's nothing,as a sens fan,we got to see them blow 2nd and 3rd period leads all season long,it's tough to watch,but gotta keep the faith lol

Lot's of empty seats. You can't blame people for not going. As always, Buffalo will be out on the golf course. Will hear from the fans as always, "Were on a rebuild and we have a great future" and next year when they don't make the playoffs again, will hear that again too. Been I think 12 years now they have been saying that.

Why does Ottawa always play so much better when they are 100% out of the playoff race? But when they have a good chance of getting to a spot they just flop everytime.

oh boy…. I genuinely feel bad for Sabres fans. The arena is half emptied almost every home game…. The Sabres keep thinking they’re gonna be good every year and they just can’t do it.

@@goldenant9450 They put in Jack Quinn off injury on Cozens line he has missed 2 months of hockey. It takes time for a player to get in sync and build chemistry. Their line was a minus 3 game over.
When Ottawa made it 4-0 I thought there was a glitch and I was seeing the same goal twice. lol

The sabres defense is pathetic, still watching the puck while the opponents get behind them. The WHOLE team was on one side of the ice on Ottawa's third goal 10 players contracts are up except for oloffson 4.5 the rest make 2.5 or less. How can Adams afford to pay the players that we need or is he sticking with the young players with no hit or grit ?

I finally figured it out. The Sabres just suck.
Ottawa surprised Buffalo and earn a season series split.
After HC Granato had a locker room discussion, the boys came out in the second period and scored in the first three minutes of the second period after a huge rebound flew out to almost the top of the faceoff circle from a wicked Mr. Tuch shot where JJ Peterka scored.
Mr. Levi came in relief stopping 10 out of 11 shots to finish the first period and shutout the Senators in the second and third periods earning a .969 save percentage saving 31 of 32 Ottawa shots.
Ottawa right wing Mr. Joseph 0G, 0A, 3SOG, -1, in 12 minutes of play, was able to cross check JJ Peterka in the back after his shot went in and that got the Sabres on the board during a 0-5 game, distasteful play that should warrant a penalty.
At least this is how we look at it here along the Lake.
Buffalo... the spectrum of hope and madness we have experienced as sports fans without winning it all, in my opinion is the worst a city has endured in modern history. I'd love to hear an argument against it.

It's possible, but not with the team they have now. They need to make some serious changes. Maybe trade some of their speedy small forwards for some big physical guys that won't let other teams just have their way with them. Guys who can clear the front of the net and stand some guys up at the blue line. Also, I'm not sure Granato knows how to coach good team defense. That needs to be better
So Calgary can’t beat buffalo but Ottawa can? Conroy has work to do.
