Hi i'm a German guy and love Minnesota and her Sport. I Thanks you for this really cool experience. That i can Watch youre day. Ps: Yes Sorry my English is Not so good
Thank you for making such a video! Your day and night reminds me of the days back in UMN- twin cities. It's a great school and with wonderful people. The days there is truly an unforgettable memories.
that just made me feel ready for college in 4 years after watching this video i now know that college isn’t all just classes for 8 hours for 180 days, at least you get freedom lolololololol
Yeah it's really nice tbh... It's a lot of work still, but you have more freedom over your daily schedule. There were some days where I only had one class, so I would have the rest of the day to do homework (or watch drumline videos on UA-cam haha)
Leonore Goulet definitely consider it as a choice! I'm currently a freshman there, and I absolutely love it so far! The only thing though, is that you'd really have to bundle up in the winter, especially if you're not from Minnesota (which I am, but still)... otherwise, you might be arriving to class as a human icicle. Other than that though, the U of M is really awesome!
if you want to get a feel of the campus and are a female identifying person, there is a program I did on campus when I was in 18 that was for women in comp sci! It was really cool and i 100% recomend it.
The University of Minnesota is my beloved campus where I got my training of International Leader of Education Program in 2010. I will always remember it for the rest of my life , though now it is faraway from my country - Indonesia.
I just got admitted but carona virus screwed my ass like crazy and it drilled my career and cut my dreams. I'm unemployed, I live under my moms basement, depressed haven't gotten a check up in months and I mean it I'm sick as hell. Dark, wet freezingly cold draped in a small blanket praying to God that I see rainbows again
I am currently attending UMN as a PhD student and graduate life here is very different than an undergraduate life given the extra responsibilities (such as teaching undergraduate courses and doing research). I definitely have loved my time here thus far and I feel like I am growing every day as a scholar, as a person, and as a thinker. I had a few options after my admissions decisions and I am so very thankful I chose here. Also, the winter is no joke (I grew up in the midwest so I am sorta used to it) but it can get brutally cold and very snowy. Don't let that deter you from attending though. Best of luck in your decision!
@@eliudmakori4931 LOL i got deferred and then later revoked my application, i was a saluditorian and did a ton of pre med stuff but oh well. i was out of state as well. i am very happy going to the school iam at now tho so it all works out in the end :)
I am kind of on a day in the life video trend right now but I have a question, I am considering the U of M and how helpful is using the penny board? I was considering a boosted board or something of the sort, but how easy is getting across campus?
Hello. My name is Muin, I am from indonesia and I plan to enroll master in physics at University of Minnesota. I have passed the scholarship from my country but I do not have LOA(Latter of Acceptance). Would you mind to help me please? Probably you can give me some sogestion or information about the profesor that you recognise. Thank you so much in advance..
Good luck! It is definitely the best institution I have attended. (Went to community college, undergraduate at a 4 year public, masters at another public 4 year, and doctorate here).
Most people live in the dorms their freshman year and then live in apartments/houses in the area after that, but you're able to do whatever you want! Some people live in the dorms for their whole college career, and some live off-campus the whole time. I'd personally recommend living in the dorms for a year... You'll meet a ton of great people, and it's a great segway into living in an actual apartment or house
How were you able to afford expenses like a car or food and rooming and play for bluecoats and brass indoor at the same time cause even in high school idk how I would be able to handle a job, marching band, indoor, and school? And idk how it would be like for college either.
I love the positive light you put on MN! I live here as well and am often surprised how hot it can actually get. I just started posting about a month ago and would love to collab with local youtubers. Let me know if you would be interested. I subbed to your channel and would love your support back :)
Rony Ndam i’m replying kinda late but it depends on which part of minnesota! where he is in this video you would probably never see a bear but if you lived in or near forest areas i’m sure you would see one lol
Jesse. A yeah sorry, I thought you meant “ oh I hate diversity “ but it was a misunderstanding also I feel you, I go to places with not many people of color so I kinda feel isolated.
The honest answer is the population is very predominately white, but there are people of color and since the enrollment here is so large, you will likely find people you can connect with, or who look like you do. I hope that helps.
This is a very difficult question to answer, but I have a link here that can get you started on the process. Good luck getting that in-state tuition! 😊 studentloanhero.com/featured/in-state-tuition-pros-cons/
Hey! Unfortunately, you can’t get in state tuition unless you live in the state for at least a year without attending school. - from an Illinois student that went to the U.
From anyone with personal experience with the process, how hard is it getting in? GPA, SAT/ACT scores, AP (that is optional, if you wouldn`t mind providing it.

I've never encounter a bear in my life and I've live in Minnesota all my life.

How do you manage school and practice for dci/wgi
How you feel about the diversity in Minnesota
Jesse. A What’s wrong about the diversity? Isn’t that a good thing? Living in a diverse city?
I was more asking more if it’s very diverse cause I don’t want to come to a college where there barely people with my color if you know what I mean

song?
Do you recommend to have a car in UMN or not? I will start school there this summer~
It depends! It's really not a necessity since public transit is pretty good here. But I've needed to drive out of the city a lot for various things
You can also use their electric scooters for like 10c a mile. If you wanted to go downtown.
Hey man. How's the percussion treating ya? What's the next step? Also whats your opinion on teching a local high school?
Thanks,
