Generous restaurateur receives a priceless gift

- For years Anaheim restaurant owner Bruno Serato has helped feed poor kids at the local Boys and Girls Club, even practically going broke in the process. He may have thought his generosity was ended when his White House Restaurant burned down, but then he received a surprise. Steve Hartman, who first interviewed Serato back in 2010, returned to discover another lesson in compassion.

I know this is cliche but the restaurant can be replaced, but the impact that you make on people can’t.. Bruno looked at it this way
"We need to find a kitchen to do the pasta for the children" This is a good man.

When it comes to kids... The walls of competition come down. The fact that competitors to his business opened up their kitchens showed me how respected he is in the area.

Now THAT is the America I love! People that do what Bruno Serato does. And expect nothing in return. A community that stands up when he is knocked down, and offers their hands to pick him up. And all of them doing it for the children.
Man, those kids get to remember his kindness forever. What a great story, & to see people rally on his behalf.
This man truly has love in his heart for those kids. He is a very wealthy man, not material wise, but spiritual.
There needs to be award shows for people like THIS wonderful human being. That's an award show I'd actually tune in to see.
I almost rolled my eyes when they said that he had a fancy restaurant that catered to the rich and famous, and then i saw that he did all that so can feed kids and my heart melted.

@@flyingizaHi... My brother and I started our own ministry 7 years ago. Part of our ministry work is feeding the homeless. From feeding about 15 homeless people when we started, we now feed up to 400 people a week! I cook all the food each week with only TWO faithful friends. It's like cooking for a large wedding every week! Lots to cook, chop, dice, marinate, season, and package. I love it! God is so good. The money for food was originally from our pockets and we didn't mind. We now became our own church and have proper paperwork so we can get some donations but not a lot. We use our own resources and some donations to give them great food! Such as, steaks, chicken, fish, veggies, pasta, rice, salads, desserts and drinks. I only cook what I would like to eat...a healthy meal. We make food baskets and share too. We supply clothes, coats, shoes and toiletries every week too. GOD HAS SET US ON A MISSION AND ITS A JOY TO SERVE HIM AND OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS! That's why I appreciate this man. I know what goes into it and the pain of watching them arrive hopeless. When they leave, God touches them through us bringing them a meal and HOPE! Kindness, love and concern is served. Just wanted you to know that. God is reminding us each day to help each other.
