As someone currently expecting, we've learned to keep an open mind. Just throughout this pregnancy so far, we have altered how we are gonna raise our child, as we learn more and ask ourselves questions. From learning to discipline. For example, before pregnancy my husband was against a clc type school and now we are considering some type of additional learning so our kiddo learns his paternal language. Taking time to think about it, learn, and ask questions- that's parenting. Y'all are gonna be fine when the time comes.

I'm 39F and I've never been happier in my decision not to have kids (mainly due to health reasons), especially in the context of this pandemic and all its financial and emotional challenges. I've seen people around me struggling with kids all the time. Though I might regret it later in life when I'm really old and gray, but I'm thankful for what I have and what I don't have right now. That said, I'm confident all of you guys would make great fathers. Stay safe WF peeps. Cheers!

having kids changes your perspective on so many things. i thought i'd be a certain kind of parent before, but now that i have kids, i'm not who i thought i would be. and Wes is right...the hard things are so hard, but that's what makes it so rewarding and creates that bond with your children. it'll be so interesting to see you guys reacting to this vid when you have kids in the future :P

here's a tip from a childcare worker. build a positive relationship and children will take you seriously when you need them to listen. Also always follow through with what you ask even if it means turning your child into a puppet to get the job done especially in the early years, eventually they'll noticed that it's more effort to fight you then to just do it

I am someone who said they wanted 2 kids. I have one right now but I don't know if I want another one. She is almost 3 years old. Guess only time will tell but I think they will all be great dads.

Dogs and kids are definitely not the same. Dogs are fully grown after about 2 years. You'll still be changing diapers at that point. Kids don't become self sufficient until around 10. Some mature faster, but not much. But for sure, 2-4 year olds are total puppies. Excited about the smallest things, and it's not unusual for them to pee on the floor.

Actually, if u look at demographics, especially in developed countries, birth rates are all below replacement level, so having at least 2 but more if feasible is actually really good for society. If you look at the biggest problems facing future generations in terms of demographics, it's actually a decrease in population that is going to be a real issue. In short, Thanos was never right. Japan is a good case study of why. ( I am a development Economist)
I would want to have 2 kids with me and my Asian Christian Girlfriend/ Wifey especially at least 2 girls but would want one at least 1 girl!

Totally understand your point. I took it as he might have meant canceling out as each person gets one kid so that kid succeeds them after they past. Which ideally makes sense but with longevity it all gets overlapped. And I guess thinking that way slows down population growth slightly compared to those that have more 🤷♀️
