I used to work at a five guys during college, and theres a trick to the frys. after letting the precooks cool for about 2 minutes, squish it between your fingers, the skin should not break. they should be a dull color. and for the final cooks, the should turn a golden color, and another squish test. if you split the fry in half and squish the end, it should almost look like mashed potatos. And when you eat it, it should have a crispy outside and a creamy inside. Hope JP and Julia see this!!

Lobster_Bread y’all don’t have individual timers (trust me I have had MANY ™’ sand dm’s ask) but they are programmed into your fryer. Your gm might not have you use them, but it is programmed there!
I work at five guys 😂😂 they almost got everything right except that we specifically use Red hot hot sauce, (I forgot the brand of BBQ), peanut oil, we don’t prepress, we use mayo not butter for grilled cheese, and we use one grilled cheese and put the patty in between not two grilled cheeses with a patty in between😂

They got it right. The girl takes care of the business and marketing side of things. One of the sons. Tyler was born after the business was established. The Father Jerry Murrell stepped out for the son to take the fifth spot.

Bacon cheeseburger bowl, sauteed onions, sauteed mushrooms, sauteed jalapenos, sprinkle some cajun seasoning, then add lettuce and mayo, and mix it together... it's a burger salad, and healthy! hahhaah

Hello JP & Julia...Great video...I've actually viewed most of them, and there's a little something in all of them, to satisfy most of us. Just be careful about over- doing it, with extreme amounts, when it comes to sodium (salt), sugar, and any food products that have high quantities of saturated fats, including cheeses, meats, etc. Being an EMS First Responder for decades, I've dealt with many people who over did it with way too much of that stuff...OH, and keep hydrated, too. You're a cute and talented couple. ⚘
I worked at five guys for the summer, the first thing they have anyone do is learn how to make the fries, it’s honestly all on feel, the first fry, your looking for a slightly golden surface but still kinda pale. That’s the most important step. Second fry is just till it’s fully golden brown all over. But they take it extremely seriously, like I’ve thrown away so much potato it’s insane
I worked at the five guys in your old video. you have to wait for the bacon to cool before the shatter test. And I’ve had people want a full refund because we gave them too many fries.

A good reason ur fries are as light is we precook our fries before a final cook and no we don't have timers but we do have an estimate time for fries
