I went in to my local bike shop prepared to buy a fox speed frame as I’m a little obsessed with fox gear and after trying the Lazer gear on after it was an easy pick. The Lazer Coyote fits so nice 10/10!

I broke the helmet on a bad fall, the helmet kept me out of the emergency room and it caused me to get the 50% off replacement of their top of the line jackal mips helmet. I'm a believer in the quality of lazer helmets.

So I broke the helmet in a crash, got the replacement top of line from lazer for 50% off. Helmet warranty is great.
Although it's the most comfortable helmet I've had. The Jackal isn't as comfortable

Looks a little like the caps that a frenchmen would wear.l suspect that your heritage may have something to do with the comfortable fit.Are you sure that the air flows from front to back

Air flows front to back unless I'm falling backwards down the hill and into a stream...again

Not for this model. They just came out w a new model and I'm not sure if they have it, but helmet and warranty made the purchase worth it for me.
@@mikemtbs thanks Mike Paquette.... I am a new rider and Army veteran looking to start riding the right way. I bought a Schumacher Hiland 21 speed with dual suspension. I am still learning the terminology. What type of helmet should I look for when starting out on beginner trails? Should I upgrade the width of my tires? Any helpful advice is appreciated.
@@jonmynrd hi Jon, so I would go with a helmet that has a visor and MIPS technology. It helps mitigate force on your head and pretty much every good helmet manufacturer offers MIPS. The wider the tire the better the grip but slower the rolling. Also consider that larger rear tires may throw mud and rocks in your rear pivot and possibly cause damage to the frame. Generally you can run a wider front tire and enjoy the increased grip. I run a 2.6 in the front and a 2.4 in the rear. Also you have to make sure your rim is wide enough to accommodate the wider tire. Maxxis tires have a guide for rim width and recommended tire width.
