The woman is correct. To me Eau Sauvage Parfum is the the Chanel number 5 of men's fragrances. I will be buying my 200 ml. Bottle next week 🤪 after waiting a long time and it will become my signature scent. To me nothing us more masculine, classic and gentlemanly. It lasts 8-12 hrs. On my skin and I won't smell like anyone else in the room.
Feeling a little validated right now! Chose this (the EDT though, not EDP, love to hear your thoughts on the differences) for my wedding/honeymoon fragrance. We went for a very classic day so I needed to smell like a classic man, enough said. Needless to say wife is always very happy whenever I bust out the Eau Savauge!
I'm glad I already own this. Eau Sauvage EDT is also phenomenal for Spring and Summer. It is heavenly.
I’m 17 and I love this fragrance soo much, the drydown is just a masterpice...so good, dark,sexy,alluring. I can only pull it off in colder months when dressed up but I just like the scent so much.

@@brucewayne3227 I wouldn't wear it during daytime summer when it's blazing hot ( +31° average where I live ), but when it's night time summer, going out, it's definitely wearable.

@@bottegabo2898 pure parfum. I wouldn't recommend it for a man under 30 and even then it's got a real sense of mature masculinity about it. It is not a young man's scent at all.
I am 50 and I stay in good shape, I am classic and this is my signature fragrance for cool and cold times, also for the night. I agree with your opinion

I have the EDT and the EDP and I love how the fragrance isn't saturated throughout the frag community. I love it and not eveybody smells like it when i go out. On a daily basis i can go to the grocery store and smell at least 6 different Aventus clones.

This is a fantastic fragrance. I get a lot of compliments when wearing this one. I wish it wasn't so hard to find. It's a very refined scent. Kids probably won't like it though.

I prefer fragrances that skew well into masculine territory, so will try. Smelled the original years ago somewhere and was impressed. I just can’t do the metro stuff like 540. Feels awkward personally. Thanks for the tip. ❤️❤️😘

Great review. I have the same as you reviewed here. The number 1 most masculine fragrance for me is the original vintage Brut by Faberge. I was lucky and managed to obtain one of the original, almost full bottle from the 80's. This was the splash on version. I would love to see you review one of these. It's a really powerful fragrance.

Im a new subscriber to your channel but a pretty old head in fragcom. lol Ive just dabbled through some of your vids. You seemed to transition your channel from makeup to more fragrances and you've sort of reinvented your look as well. Your earlier vids you were very done up (make up wise) and your later vids you are very natural. Even your film lighting has changed. All very interesting. Ive also noticed your fragrance pallet change quite a bit through the past couple years. I think that happens to us all in the world of all things fragrant. lol Im glad your health is better and you seem to be in a good space. For your age you seem to be in a great mental space. Nice choice, Demi! This one could work on Sean Connery, Roger Moore, or even a middle-aged accountant (yours truly.) Not sure it's the *most masculine*, but still a damn fine piece of perfumery.

Hey, so this is off-topic but I like to share stuff with you that I discovered… So my like signature fragrance right now is the combination of oud orange intense With lira… It's because they both have orange and the mixture of fruit and coconut and the brightness from the orange intense with the Gormont from lira just makes this heavenly scent… If you can give that a try! XO

Havent tried this new version. I got the old formula. Do they smell the same? My bottle scent is extremely strong with a lot of Myrrh and vetiver, defo for a grown man!

Demi, Eau Sauvage been using it since the end of the 1960's. It was the Edt and at that time it was a huge sucesso and till today i still use it from time to. time. The EDP Eau Sauvage 1917 is fantástico and i use it as i use Chanel and Heritage. I use several niche. I do love Ambre fragrances have several. I'm going to by next week for the first time two Initio fragrances that you love. The oud one that you mentioned during your stay in Dubai and another one that i still didnt decides which. Just bough Xerjoff Ivory Rouge love it but as an art i prefer Andy Tauer L'air du désert marocain..

I’ve just bought a bottle. Opens really nicely but will keep my nostrils flared for a thick, powdery sweetness you may get in the dry down. If that’s the case I may have to retire it as a backup.

It is a decent fragrance but its autumn/winter season in Blighty and so doesn't cope well in the cold but in warmer climates its a go.

After a Lot of fragrances i can say Dior is the best brand for me
I have the older 2012 version and it is a " Boss as" fragrance.
Unfortunately it is not the case for me. The heaviest more masculine perfume from all time is surely vintage Polo green. Chypre tones with a ton of russian smoky leather, tobacco and woods. Another great candidate is Hermes Bel Ami, also extremely leathery. Givenchy Gentleman '74, extremely leathery, earthy and ultranimalic, it's funkier than 70's Le Freak or Superstition

Has Eau Sauvage Parfum been discontinued? It's not listed on the Dior website and it doesn't look like it's readily available many places 🤔
CD Eau Savage is not a newer version. This juice was launched in 1966 and has been a classic ever since. I've been wearing it since the 80s.
Penhaligon's Portraits collection - you should make a review about them. Also, Tiziana Terenzi Al Contrario, beautiful gourmant and massive compliment getter. One perfume review is my fav type of video.

I think it would make sense to do individual videos if 1) a fragrance comes out after you have done a "Best of" video, 2) it is something new and fantastic (for example: Kalan), 3) a viewer requested comparsion video (such as EDT vs. EDP), and/or 4) such videos allow you to provide consistent new content for your channel.

How about a video comparing the edp vs edp when each triumph the other (like eua Sauvage, Farenheit) It would help to know the differences
