What an amazing hike and waterfall. My wife and I did this hike this past Monday, May 21, 2018. BTW, the current fee is 30 dollars per person. Great vid and beautifully composed still shots.
Thanks for sharing the info on current pricing. It's worth it!
I used to live there in pinetop in the 70's we never got a permit?, and we would climb the falls bare foot, there is a way to scale the wall before you get to the falls
Nice, its always risky for me to travel to a destination without getting permits. I would hate to get fined over a small fee. Seems like you got lucky...
ive seen that you will need to cross the creek with your vehicle to reach the trailhead, would a small pickup have any issues?
Beautiful pictures and video. How long did it take you to hike from the parking lot to the falls? How far would you say it is?
It's hard to say, I take a lot of pictures along the way, but It's a mile and a half each way. could take you 30 minutes.
Thanks! :)
I like that place,
I'm free cause I'm a part of the tribe
Amazing video and info, keep it up!!!
I went
How was the Hike? I know you had a great time!
Any idea if dogs are allowed on this trail??
Tony Montano I don't believe there are any restrictions. In the description above is a link to my blog, there you'll find the website for permit info. That should have the information.
+Shannon Jackson Ah, okay. Makes sense. Thank you for the info!
cibecue waterfall access permits are now $30 per person per day. effective 6/16/2017
Thanks for sharing the information.
Hi any ideas where can I get the permit. The link is not working anymore. Thanks
Amey Rane the nearest place would be carrizo gas station. about 20 miles heading toward showlow also there is a self paying station as u enter the area. pink ramada cash or check only.
$30 per day per person
Thanks
Cherry Creek is not far from there and I think its better. The falls are not quite that high, but it's not on the rez, no crowds and it's free.
Good to know, I'll definitely look into Cherry Creek.
Link to the permit?
