Lemmo was feeling that second piece !! I want to thank the Norms crew for putting this content in the world - it’s a better place because of it. Stay cool
DAMN! That was phenomenal! Lemmo is like EVH, before EVH was a thing. Mike, really enjoy your playing & unassuming attitude. Can't afford that guitar, but love to hear you play it.
That’s gotta be the best GOTD I’ve ever heard and I’ve seen literally every episode. The quick licks on the 12 bar blues and that first piece was just amazing
Of all the guitars he plays he seems to be most inspired playing these old 335s. He may love the Jazzmasters but the 335s bring something out in him that the others don't. I hope he has one of his own.
Lemmo is so awesome.. I've been listening to the first tune in this video everyday for a week already! Better than anything on the radio today, i could just listen to you warm up and play over almost anything! God bless you man
Lemmo of the day, hosted by another guitar! His playing is out of this world!!!!! This is the only guitar review channel where the guitar is a true master!!
The obvious thing is that Michael loves to play guitar. He has the ideal setup to play great guitars through good amps. As he keeps playing he is improving before our eyes, the audience. He gets the feedback and he knows he's appreciated and keeps playing great while being a humble person. Get the 335. Trade Norm - guitar lessons for the guitar.
Great playing, man. I always enjoy it. It can get a bit tedious to hear those same blues solos and licks and just random notes played as fast as possible - which 90% of youtube guitar vids are about. So this is just lovey. Thanks, Lemmo.
The part at 1:30 to 1:33 is killer. The notes Michael is playing are in tune with his talking. You got guitar playing in your veins man. I feel that because I got it as well. Keep practicing and playing, you’re delivering great stuff day after day. 👍
Michael you always have a great guitar to show me that is the best thing next to the players including you Mike we always listen and never disappointed Norm has a great show!!!! 5 ⭐️!!!!
Michael, you remind me so much of my brother who is also a Michael, in fact. Absolutely love watching you demonstrate your absurd musical ability everyday. I always look forward to watching Normans’s GOTD videos every day. A true motivation to myself as I’m about 8 or so months in learning guitar on my own. Hopefully, I’ll make it out there soon to visit Norm’s because I’m so fascinated by not only the diverse selection, but by your versatility on the axe as well. From Connecticut - peace and love! Keep rockin’ Lemmo.
Outstanding demo Lemmo on this glorious 335. This is my favorite guitar and I really want one, and I don’t even play. I never miss one of your norm’s rare guitars videos, and this is one of the very best. Thank you!
That first track was very Paul Weller yyyyy good stuff 🕺 And all the rest of the tracks just mind blowing your amazing guitarist so many techniques used some subtle some not so But you can see the gift you have mixed with some very hard work/Practice I’m sure if all the guitar greats that have left this earth could see you play they will all take their hats off to you .....just saying 🤷🏽♂️
Here in the U.K, our Straturday videos arrive Sunday morning. I have guitar porn with my 1st coffee of the day, every day, and the coffee GENUINELY tastes even better if it’s a Normans Rare guitars day. This was exceptional. I need more coffee to recover. Love and respect from Lahndan Tarn.
Excellent as always. The 335 is my dream guitar and someday when my ship comes in I hope to get one. Recently I read something (sorry I can't remember where) that said the famous recording of Crossroads on Wheels of Fire was not played on a 335 but rather on "The Fool", Clapton's psychedelic SG. He certainly played a 335 during the famous farewell concert at the Albert Hall which may be why so many of us associate that guitar with the music he played during that era. But it really doesn't matter Clapton would sound great no matter what he was playing.
I love these Gibson ES-335, 345, 355 guitars, Epiphone Sheratons, Rivieras, Dot Deluxes, 345s and 355s . . All the rest, even SGs and Les Paul's, are just so much kindling to me. Strats? Wouldn't have one in the house! Gretsch? Maybe on a good day. I had a Gretsch White Falcon double-cut. Absolute rubbish! I was well rid of it when I sold it. It'll do the rounds I reckon. Each successive owner will think he can fix it . . Nah! But I come here to Norm's UA-cam page to see and hear the Gibson hollow and semi-hollow guitars being put through their paces by Michael Lemmo, one of the best guitar pickers I ever saw! 🙂
Lemmo I feel like that guitar was inspiring you and you got lost in it like we all love to do. That was quite a jam and in a few different places was amazing. Also do you listen to The Wave radio station?? That first song sounds like something I would hear on that station and I loved it. Keep em coming man....that was cool.
Man I just love 335s! The look, the feel, the sound... everything.. if I had the $$ I'd have a small collection of em. What's he playing through? I love that tone and reverb!
These sound great in person, but lack personality in a studio setting . I find recording with these made my music sound like music you hear in a elevator or at the bank. SG’s, p90’s, fenders, are the way to go.
It's time for "Lemmo-Lessons" ... I pay for that musical brain of yours... Yoz always hit that sweet spot with zhe surtain touch of aaaaawwwwgh... Damn bro'. . Cheers from Germany PS. I don't come 4 ghe guitars anymore just for your little jams
Never heard him play anything better, superb!
No joke, the first thing Lemmo plays starting at 2:54 is one of my favourite pieces of music ever. Fucking hell
That whole bridge pickup set was hypnotically fascinating. What an absolutely incredible guitar . . and played by an absolute master guitarist!!
Michael Lemmo, I must say, A particularly exquisite showcase of your talent!
Lemmo was feeling that second piece !! I want to thank the Norms crew for putting this content in the world - it’s a better place because of it. Stay cool
That’s seriously some of the best playing I’ve heard. And what a guitar.
@0:34 - "We're always buying especially vintage guitars as they're not making 'em any more . . . "
Classic!
He still blows me away! After watching I don't know how many videos of him, everyone is different KOOL! Don't know how he does it!
Mike’s playing is a stellar! What a wonderful tune in the beginning. Waiting for the album, man!
The best performance I’ve seen from him till this day… speechless
Of all the guitars he plays he seems to be most inspired playing these old 335s. He may love the Jazzmasters but the 335s bring something out in him that the others don't. I hope he has one of his own.
200% right spot on !!
Always love your playing Lemmo, keep up the incredible work and hopefully we will get the chance to hang when the plague has finished :-)
And the captain too??
"All knobs at Lemmo, more than a touch of reverb..." Time moves on. Lovely guitar, and a lovely performance by Mike.
Dude was just in flow state on this one. Just kept finding really tasteful stuff that was just killer
Lemmo is so awesome.. I've been listening to the first tune in this video everyday for a week already! Better than anything on the radio today, i could just listen to you warm up and play over almost anything! God bless you man
Mikey is a 335 hand...he just ain't admitted too himself yet...excellent playing Lemmo !
Agreed !
What's one of those??
Agreed. forget the Jazzmaters Lemmo, 335 is the way to go!
Lemmo strikes again with a killer groove. Amazing to throw in those octave melody lines and keep that complex chord groove going
Lemmo of the day, hosted by another guitar! His playing is out of this world!!!!! This is the only guitar review channel where the guitar is a true master!!
Your playing on the middle position was just great
what song was it
@@bemf4532 crossroads, by Clapton
@Deleting UA-cam isn’t easy. Of course, who didn't 'borrow' from Robert Johnson
Outstanding, thank you for the free concert.
Yea this still one of the best episodes in my opinion. From start to finish just nailed it
yes he's really in tune with it - god gave rock n' roll to you
HOLY F'n S when Lemmo takes his abilities to a 9 We're all reminded
What's Up!! that Crossroads was Cool AF!!!
A muse, riding on the storm... End was great!
Michael and the 335 sounded SO good. Tons and tons of energy
Absolutely love anything he plays!
Exceptional. Simply exceptional.
Another Ausome demo from a man that really knows how to play a guitar. Thanks Michael and Norm.
Michael, you are one gifted player! Absolutely killer! Thanks for putting the 335 through its paces! No one could do it better! Awesome!
Wow Lemmo!!!!!!!! What was that first song? Thanks for sharing your skills with us all! Inspirational!
Wow. What a range. And the guitar's pretty good too.
Just picked up an epiphone es-335 in sunburst. These guitars are truly beautiful, as is the playing!
Awfully good. Beautiful guitar and Lemmo did a great job playing it. Thanks for sharing.
Great playing, man. I always enjoy it. It can get a bit tedious to hear those same blues solos and licks and just random notes played as fast as possible - which 90% of youtube guitar vids are about. So this is just lovey. Thanks, Lemmo.
Lemmo making that 335 really sing. Fabulous.
The part at 1:30 to 1:33 is killer. The notes Michael is playing are in tune with his talking. You got guitar playing in your veins man. I feel that because I got it as well. Keep practicing and playing, you’re delivering great stuff day after day. 👍

Love the first one. Pur Magic sound!!! 🤯👏
Absolutely brilliant 🤩
I just enjoy hearing Michael play guitar period. Plays anything tastefully and very seasoned. Great Job as always. 😊🎸👍🏻❤
Michael you always have a great guitar to show me that is the best thing next to the players including you Mike we always listen and never disappointed Norm has a great show!!!! 5 ⭐️!!!!
What. A. Player. And what a beautiful guitar!

Wow Lemmo, thanks for these amazing, very well-spent 17 minutes!
Genius playing ML. Picking my jaw off the floor brother
a beautifully rich and dynamic sounding instrument and it took lemmo all of five seconds to demonstrate that
Outstanding demo Lemmo on this glorious 335. This is my favorite guitar and I really want one, and I don’t even play. I never miss one of your norm’s rare guitars videos, and this is one of the very best. Thank you!
Love me a good 335. Nothing better.
Fantastic guitar, Amazing playing! Well done, Mr. Lemmo, well done.
That first track was very Paul Weller yyyyy good stuff 🕺

Not only is the playing brilliant, also thanks for letting us hear the actual tone of the guitar. 👍🏻💙👍🏻
