How to setup Google Colab in dark mode? | Google Colaboratory dark theme tutorial

Welcome to google colab tutorial for beginners. In this video, I am taking you through the steps to set google colab in dark mode. You will be leaning to enable Dark theme in Google Colab notebook.

There are 3 different theme options exist in Google Colaboratory. Namely,
1. Light Theme
2. Dark Theme
3. Adaptive
When you will check in settings of your google colab notebook, you will see that by default it is set to Adaptive. Adaptive basically means, it will adopt the google colab theme based on your current windows desktop theme. If you are using your PC with dark mode then no need to make any change, Google colab always open in Dark mode for you.
But when you use Light theme for your Windows, and it's adaptive theme for your Google Colab, then your google colab appear in Light mode. If you want google colab notebook to be open specifically in dark mode irrespective of your PC personalization, you need to make it dark theme explicitly. This video will guide you through the steps.
Once you will make changes in settings of google colab, you need to save the changes that are made there. It wil start reflecting in your notebook right after saving the updated setting. If it doesn't reflecting in your notebook, you can refresh the Google Colab notebook.
