Good. I followed someone else who put another smaller pot inside the bigger pot to cast a hollow shape. That method also required me to place so much weight inside the smaller pot to prevent accidental moving. This guy solved my problem.

Nice Idea...the only thing you have to do is to make the pot more thin...as the walls are very fat...which will make it very heavy to move after filled with soil and plants...
Yes you can replace mustard oil with used/unused engine/motor oil. But as the color of used oil gets dark in color therefore the outer surface of your cement pot will also get some dark color. Dont worry sometime it happens. Its just because of improper mixing of cement and sand mixture with water. Air is trapped between the particals which results as pores in the pots. I use portland cement of grade 53. Its just a regular cement which is used in construction of buildings and homes 🙂 You might be adding more water in your cement and sand mixture. But if you have mortar.. than no need of mixing sand.... only water.

well he added sand to the mixture not a pure cement , so it is concrete . the diffrence between cement and concrete .
