This is genius! I was about to make papercrete pots using paper pulp, concrete, and coarse sand, but felt there had to be a better way.
I discovered ferrocrete, but I wasn’t sure how to apply it to planters, so I kept looking and found this video. Now I’m convinced I’ve found the solution. Thank you!
This is not only more economical and stronger, but also much prettier in the final product, and faster with less mess.
If you don’t mind sharing, how long do these last when used as planters, and have you experienced any issues with breakage or crumbling over time?

Wow..... this is just absolutely awesome.
A cement pot like that would cost someone between 20 and 30 dollars on the cheaper end, and about 50 to 100 on the higher end.
Getting on with this project asap.....planning to make about ten of 'em !

Just keep eye on water being added to cement sand ratio, it should not be too much, so that you get dough like consistency, mix cement sand first then keep adding water
