Actually now they recommend you don't give breaths anymore and just do compressions. At least that's what they recommend currently, but that always changes it seems from year to year.
people watching this should know that chest compressions should go deeper as demostrated maybe a rib kracks but better than dying, I think its because the kid actor is stll alive and cpr would damage him but better risking a damage than dying
Exactly you NEVER EVER perform REAL CPR on someone who has nothing wrong with them. On a person who's not unconscious it would HURT THEM EXTREMELY BADLY and you risk breaking bones! If you want to practice real CPR use a dummy.
Yeah and he covered the face of the breathing child and beathed into him I was like WTH! That cant be healthy. Why not switch to a maniquin if he felt necessary to do all that. Or just explain and immeddiately take it off his face. I felt very uncomfortable seeing that. Ive never seen an instructor actually put their lips (plastic between or not) on a person much less a child for demonstrstion purposes when not actually trying to save the life.
The mouth cover is a device that keeps a barrier between the responder and the patient. It is meant to reduce any fluids that might come out of the patient's mouth. But it is not required for rescue breaths, just an extra precaution that can be taken if available.
Draw an imaginary line that stretches directly from one of the nipples to the other. Find the halfway point of that line. That's where the hand should go! (For CPR. For heimlich the placement is different, but that's obviously a different scenario. Just mentioning that, because I used to get them confused).
You should start CPR if the patient has less than 2 breaths under the assesment period(the period is 10 secs). The source used is the hungarian red cross's guide so the guidelines might differ in your place but I highly doubt it
@@MohammadAbdullah-eq2rk Could you imagine some kid is actively dying and a paramedic uses the event as an opportunity to create an instructional UA-cam video lol
I speak from experience when I say that putting on gloves is not a key factor when you're not dealing with bleeding, but it only takes abt 6-8 secs to put on + the shield can be gotten out of a well packed IFAK in like 2-3 but can also be replaced by some random gauze, but is also not mandatory, but recommended
This was just a demonstration. The kid was not actually hurt, he was just acting so that the man could give us a visual example of what CPR should look like. The kid wasn't in actual danger(except maybe from the boredom of laying there with his eyes closed lol)
@@K892-rq7eo It does actually really matter. If you go too fast, it is much less effective, and can actually be dangerous. Same with going too slow. That's why everyone specifies to keep it between 100-120 bpm. Just clarifying this for safety reasons lol
2:33 that's where he starts the demo
So awesome. No swag no UA-cam glam, just info❤❤
Must be first check a danger then response if not responder not breathing,,call ambulance then 5:30:2 and repeat
You are the best explner
Thanks.. So do you breath in or out in their mouth.
Rescue breaths should only go in to the patient. Their body will naturally push the air back out.
Imagine only have seconds to save your friend but an unskipable app about the Arby’s Wagyu Burger💀
God bless you guys 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✋🏼
So do you breath in or out in their mouth
So if you breathed in no air would get in their system. Obviously you breathe out to give them air 😂

Why did he cover his mouth? Should you supposed to bring air to him?

Is there a better video on a doll or a patient with no shirt? It's hard to tell where his hand is

So u can start cpr even if they are breathing? He said if they aren't breathing properly.

I feel for people pointing out the ads, this is why we prepare beforehand!

The long speech at the beginning might have killed the patient. 😢
It’s a training video. 😐

Wait! Let me get my surgical gloves and CPR shield before I touch the dying child! Otherwise, I'm not safe to rescue!
Thats for the paramedics On scene.

so basically anyone can do cpr on a child, even ped's if they press on the kids chest, slowly move down to the crotch area lol

That looks fake why would a kid just force yourself to do that
What are you talking about? It’s just a demonstration.
It is so fake I saw the kid breathing if you look closely you can see the kids stomach moving
It’s supposed to be fake it’s suppose to show other people how to do it
Good. I'm glad it was fake and he wasn't so slow and explanatory if it was real.

UR SO WRONG WHEN UR NOT PAYING ATTENTION HE MIGHT DIE
If u look very closely u can see his belly moving which means he’s breathing.

100 to 120 beats per minute is NOWHERE CLOSE to that fast.. dude ain't no musician. Lol. Dude more like 140bpm
Thats not really an issue
the priority is to make sure the dead person.. doesn't stay dead
