I have been here on your channel for about 2 weeks now (that's when I subscribed) and I'm sitting here watching this video thinking "how in the world does she not have a least a million subs already?" Sarah, you are literally my new favorite ASMRtist :)
I also like wood and book tapping, I now know that I too like the "tackey" sound of gripping and letting go. You are really good at whispering, the way you emphasize "t" and "d" is nice, triggers me. Thank you for helping me sleep 😴 Ohio is a great state for out door and community activities, rock climbing, parks, downtown Cincinnati is the perfect size. I wanna see a collab with u and Eda Foxxx sooo bad!! If u guys each did a foreign language whisper along with tapping, scratching, personal attention, and a mix of brown noise and rain in the background, I would melt!!!
I grew up in one of the most affordable places in the country - Greenville, SC. The COL is very low but the arts and outdoor activities are abundant. It’s also 3hr from the beach and 3hr from the mountains so it’s perfect!
Tennessee- specifically Chattanooga. It is a huge outdoors city, it has the fastest internet currently in the country and it has a huge draw for artsy folks as well.
Loved this 🥰 I love whispers and tapping, but interestingly I also noticed here that the rubbing sounds (like on the piece of foam) were also very tingly ✨
What about a book video of best of the genre? Like best Classic, best Sci-Fi, best Fanatasy, best Children's, etc. I also LOVE cardboard hardback book sounds. Reading through Wingfeather Saga now, and the books sound SO good!
Well I live in Idaho and outdoor activity is like a staple. There are thousands of hiking trails, ski resorts, and great places to rock climb. Culture wise, it’s pretty limited. I would say Boise is probably the most diverse place. I also think Idaho is a pretty affordable place to live compared to a lot of other states. I just thought I mention it

I was born in Washington and lived there my whole life and just moved to Colorado the last 2 years for college and I love it and it’s WAYYY more affordable than Washington or California. It can be expensive in the denver/metro area but where I live in southern colorado is very affordable and the outdoor life for rock climbing, snow skiing, hiking, lakes, and all of that stuff is amazing!
Pennsylvania is amazing for outdoor activities! I don't do many outdoor sports, but there are plenty of options for rock climbing, skiing, hiking, swimming, etc. I absolutely love all the state parks. You can also find art and culture in PA depending on where you live. There are a lot of museums and cute bookstores that I love. Another part of PA that I love is that you get to experience all four seasons, and you get to choose whether you want to live in the city, the country, or the mountains while still being a small drive from everything else!
Come to Minneapolis, MN! Tons of theater, arts, music, outdoor activities in the summer and winter (try ice climbing!), bicycling trails, and we have the beautiful boundary waters. Also I know you love Target, and MN is the home of Target, you can’t go 10 miles without hitting a Target 😝
Sarah you literally convinced me to buy a Manta sleep mask last year, and it was one of the best purchased I ever made. I’m in love with my manta mask!! :)
Bozeman, MT would be an incredible place to live. Hiking, skiing, climbing, and one of the fastest growing “small” towns in America. And it’s absolutely gorgeous!
Id love you to do a visual triggers video with lowlight ambience or maybe invisible triggers, that would be amazing, also your voice is so relaxing so whatever you do is good 🤍
Nice to hear you’ve been in my country 🇨🇷 I enjoy your videos every night to go to sleep and I fall so quickly to sleep that I still can’t believe it, THANKS
Love all these sounds! Washington is absolutely gorgeous (I live here) but is indeed expensive, although less expensive if you don’t live in/near Seattle. Central WA is cheaper and still close to lots of great outdoor opportunities. Bend, Oregon is also lovely and less expensive, with great rock-climbing areas nearby!
Love ur videos started bouldering ever since your first video on it x and had my first climbing comp came 13th / 103💕have u done much climbing after you moved 😊
The tough part about where to live is I feel like the expensive places are expensive because they're such a great place to live. I live in a suburb outside of Sacramento and it's literally 1-2hr drive to the ocean, the mountains, and the forest but the temp where I'm at only ranges from 60ish to 90ish degrees. There's so much good hiking, climbing, and outdoor activities to do in northern California but the rent can run $1600 for a 1 bedroom. It really is a great place to live though.
Your videos are magical!!! Love that foam tapping; wood is definitely #1. Another favorite is cardboard sounds (tapping, scratching, etc.) Jen ASMR unboxing does sleepy cardboard sounds that puts me in a daze lol You would love Utah for outdoor activities/rock climbing. Not too sure how expensive it is to live there, but Moab is a dream land 😍
Sarah asking us, what triggers we would like to see/hear is like asking, what do you want on the Chick Fil A menu - everything’s great lol. With that said, I would love hair brushing 👉👈
idaho is very pretty! ketchum, boise, mccall, etc. lots of hikers + climbers here 🥰 also lots of mountains for skiing in the winter! boise is very inclusive - it’s starting to get a little expensive though :( every city in idaho is quite and outdoorsy! except the like nampa / caldwell area
Related to moving. Move to Northwest Arkansas! Lots of outdoor activities: rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, etc. Lots of younger people and stuff to do as well. It’s getting more expensive these days, but it’s still affordable compared to CO, WA, OR, or CA. Other things: lots of crystals, bigger houses to build recording studios, lots of friendly dogs (but not the kind that bark in the street). Idk - checkout Fayetteville, Bentonville, or Rogers. Not a bad place to land.
Just moved from Washington to Colorado! Felt like there was more room to spread out here, and certainly a little cheaper! Being central also makes getting around the country easy! Also since you're also a climber - so many options in Colorado! I felt like Exit 38 in WA was way too busy to get enough climbing in (unless you go when it's wet out, which is often..)
I would love to see another fast & aggressive ASMR, yours are my absolute favorites! Also, I literally watch your pomodoro videos repeatedly every single day while I do tasks, so another pomodoro video would be super great too!!! You’re my favorite ASMR channel by far ♡
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and just moved back because I missed it so much. I’m from Washington so I perked up when you said you were considering moving here. I live on the East side but Western Washington is where it’s at. Very excited for you!
I've never been to Wisconsin but I've heard it's really green and pretty in the summer. :) The winter may be too cold for me though! I've only ever lived in Hawaii and Texas (and now Mexico) so snow is going to be new for me pahaha
Hi Sarah, I just recently found your channel and you converted me to ASMR, thank you. I wanted to give a suggestion of a place to live. Utah is a beautiful place and has a lot of national parks close by. I would specifically say something in southern Utah since Zions, Snow Canyon, and Kolob are all fairly close. Any way thank you again for converting me to ASMR and I hope wherever you go is a great life journey for you.
I visit Moab a couple times a year because we have family who live there and it's by far one of the most beautiful and surreal areas in our country. We're definitely considering Utah! 💖

Just found your channel too and I already love the whispers and taps! ❤️
I don't think the life update part is negative, Sarah. I was listening very interested, so thank you for telling us. I hope you will end up at a place you are totally happy with and that feels like home very quickly after you moved :)
That box is so cute!🥰 I have been loving wood tapping and scratching recently. Good luck with your move! I hope you can find a place that's comfortable for you to keep making ASMR 💛

My all time favorite relaxing trigger is whispers. Absolutely one of the biggest reasons I LOVE your videos.

More books & tapping (with whispers).... LOVE! You're getting me through writing my dissertation.

Love the sound of tracing with nails! Haven't been able to find a good ASMRist that does it often, so would love to hear more if possible
Agreed!
Definitely check out goodnight moon!
Can you do a life update video? I'd love one! I know thats not what this video was supposed to be but it would be cool to hear you talk more about it.

Perfect, I'm listening right now,

You’re my fav asmrtist Sarah! I’d love if you did a dedicated follow the light video 😁😁
Thank you Matthew! That's a great idea! 💕
Lately, whispering has been my favorite. However, I also like scratching and lid sounds. But none of your vids have ever disappointed me!

Ooh that foam was wonderful! It muffles the tapping nicely. I much prefer gripping, sticky fingers, and finger-pad tapping. The foam mimics those.

Bozeman, MT would be an incredible place to live. Hiking, skiing, climbing, and one of the fastest growing “small” towns in America. And it’s absolutely gorgeous!
Yesssssss I love the gripping sound too! Especially on leather and thick plastics, and apparently wood too 😊😊
Tapping on foam gave me so many tingles. That’s new to me!
