This is just one gem of a documentary. Tight editing, and a beautifully crafted window into the human side of Sundance that lives and dreams outside the bright lights and big names. Captivating from start to finish - and I love the dialog over the black screen at the end.
Tara! I am so excited for you (again) but not surprised. You totally captured the vibe of being at Sundance. If anyone reading this hasn't experienced it...GO! It's an amazing experience of art, film, music, coffee, people, life, snow, parties and FUN!
I just want to say that I thought this video was very well done. and that it was very inspiring. Being a "film dreamer" myself, it has unlocked something inside of me. I feel more ambitious and I want to pursue my passion for film and acting. Bravo.
*tip for the interviews... plug a light unit to the cammera or when you have a shiny background use the backlight option on your cammera... but the best thing is to have a small light unit. *
Normal accounts have a 10 minute length restriction, but if you make your own videos you can apply for a director account that (I believe) has no time limit. However, the actual file still has to be less than 100 MB.
$200 budget My friends and I all decided to go out and make a movie. Everybody says they like it but we need an unbiased opinion. So watch "The Killer car", "The killer Car 2" and "The killer Car 3 the return of Spud" They open with the teaser trailer for part 3 or the Return of spud it won't make sense untill you've watched all 3.If you have to watch one of them make sure it's part 3,that's where all the money is. Hope to hear your opinions.
wow so that ris what happened to the underlings in these festivals while the celebirties go skiing and have " secret" hookups and get more free stuff ( ok maybe that was only according to entourage)
I didn't watch all of it, but it was pretty interesting. I want to be a movie director when I get older. My animation stuff is very popular and everyone I've talked to loves my vids, you can tell by the comments I receive everyday. If you'd like to check out my 60 stop-motion animation vids, plz do! Thanks! Enjoy!
I think you did a great job and NATESOR is a talking anus. I mean that in the most respectful way. I have never been there so I am greatful for this piece.
ughhhh, what the hell? I thought the limit of pretention was so much lower. this proves me wrong. "Look at what I've CREATED!" "I'm such an AR-TEEST" "Most of the unwashed masses cannot begin to comprehend the enlightenment my film radiates." They usually don't realize there films aren't "challenging" to society, they are annoying and not entertaining. And the celebrity worship is painfully pathetic. They're just people, ffs. BAH
you violated the 10 minute rule, your video should be deleted. theres no reason for so called directors to get preferential treatment. 10 minutes is the maximum for everybody
I like the bit where they said about the film reals and carrying them around, "and sometimes they have to hustle!". Modern day hero's.
your gladness makes me cheerful.
Way to go Tara. It's about time this film is getting the recognition it deserves.

Twenty minutes? It felt like five. I was enthralled the whole time. Editing timing is good. Great doc. in my opinion. I wanna be a filmmaker!
I'm a film lover
I am a film dreamer, eater and sleeper!
One things for sure.
One day, I hope soon. I WILL get a film screened at Sundance.
Failure as a Film-maker is not an option.
Inspirational.
A WONDERFUL film! Congrats, Tara!!
