To all the idiots implying she favored the brand name over the off brand, she didn't let it sit long enough, she scrubbed harder with the name brand than the off brand.... Multiple influencers have done the comparison between these two products... The name brand wins hands down every single time... So unless you're going to spend your own money, your own time, and make your own video ...sit down.
Cover the bottom of the pan with ammonia soaked paper towles, place in the sun for a couple of hours and the crud will practically wipe off and a sopa pad will get the rest.
You should put like a paper tape in between, then let both the scrubs "marinate" for about 10mins then scrub for the same time like about 3 minutes to both
I just use my dish soap and baking soda does the job every time. I don't buy into the gimmicky stuff. my Daughter-in-law was gonna buy a new insta pot pot because she couldn't get it clean. I told her to use baking soda she said no easier to buy one. I cleaned with tried and true dish soap & baking soda and it shines like brand new.
Okay 1, it needs to be a PASTE, hence the name. 2, You need to let it sit for the reccomended time in order for it to actually break down the dirt 🤦🏻♀️
Uh... that's not a "Pink Stuff" type of job, that's a "Bar Keeper's Friend" type job. Also you're supposed to spread the product and let it sit. Your poor pans, what is your husband doing to them that the bottoms look like that after one dinner??
Yup so worth it the real pink stuff never seems to be in stock locally and shipping is too high for my budget so having this dollar tree dube is a life saver
Unsure of why people say that the pink stuff paste works. I’ve tried it multiple times with different sponges on different items and surfaces and it has never worked for me I think it’s a rip off honestly.
The thing is, the pink stuff isn't an expensive cleaner, here in the uk you can get it for £1. The brand that makes it is not a particularly good or premium brand, it's bargain basement, just like the dupe she's compared it too.
Or, wild idea, you use the dupe more times but still save a lot more money than shelling out for the name brand. If you have to buy 3 a month vs 6 for the dupe a month, your price is just a dollar and some change over the cost of 1 Pink Stuff container. It's not like the dupe doesn't work at all. Some of you didn't grow up poor and learned to budget and it shows.
First, doesn't look like either worked very well. Second: barkeeper's friend and dawn are the best I've seen, at getting that stuff off of pots and pans.
That didn’t happen in 1 night LOVE ❤️ And WHAT I NEVER USED WATER ON METAL! WITH EITHER…. I DONT SCRUB EITHER…. IT SITS FOR A FEW MINUTES AND WIPES OFF…. YOUR DOING TOO MUCH ARM WORK
I disagree; DT cleaning supplies have always been useless wasted money whenever I've tried it. The crud never works. Unless it's a name brand (like Comet cleanser) I will no longer buy cleaners from DT.
You have to let cleaning products sit to break down dirt 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Yep. She should label them then wait.
I'm not so sure seeing the pink stuff is an abrasive cleaning product. You are going to have to scrub, to gett the benefits of the products.
I was coming here to say the same thing you need to let it sit for at least 10 mins
@miriam4235 yeah the pink stuff right on the container says not to use it on your pans.
You have to scrub with the pink paste bro
U scrub the pan a lot more with the name brand one, so of course it came off
She probably didn’t show all the scrubbing
Neither one did much, but let it sit and they both would work
I tried the pink stuff, but the power paste works much better
And used WAY MORE of the real brand then the fake
I’d love to see this again where you let it sit for a while first. And maybe adding one more comparison against power paste ❤
I feel the scrub daddy paste is better than the pink stuff 👍🏼
I was looking for this comment.
Yes bc the paste isnt abrasive. Bar keepers friend and the pink stuff both say not to use on pots and pans due to them being abrasive.
Use bar keepers friend, and it will make your pan lkie new again.
Right because neither product worked like that bar keepers 😂
She’s testing products
All that did was scrape the top layer off of my pans
Right! Scrub on and _leave it alone!_ Nothing works better than good 'ol Bar Keepers Friend
@@cdeathlonger7446thats all they both do. It says not to use on your pots and pans.
Bar keepers friend is the best for that 🙃
You have to let it sit tho?
I used the Dollar tree brand one to clean the tub and let me tell you that worked wonderful. At least for me.
What I like is that it's not even horrible for 1.25, it's a decent product fir cheap so it's a pretty nice alternative imo
“I let my husband cook last night and I’m just as confused about what happened to this pan” 😂
Girl what the hell you doing to your pans?!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Did you not listen to the video?..
@uluvjewel we listened but WTF did he do to the pan??
And that is NOT a one time thing... It looks like many layers...
Right?
Please don't let that man cook anymore. 😭
When you realize its the BOTTOM of the pan
Barkeeper’s friend will have it looking new with far less scrubbing.
Barkeeper's friend and steel wool is all you need
There is nothing better for me than bar keepers friend!!!!!😊
I've used "the pink stuff" and it doesn't work either! 😂
No way that mess happened with one use.
Soak and sprinkle with cream of tartar. Let dry, scrub and repeat. I have also had luck with a paste of baking soda and dawn dishsoap.
Bar Keeper's friend is the best thing you can possibly use....and it's very inexpensive.
Now all I gotta do is get my husband to learn to cook badly, burn a pot then I can test it too! Thanks 🙏🏼

It still works great for everyday stuff like tea boilers and stainless sinks
I tried this product, and I find it is no better that Comet, Bar Keeper Friend or Dawn, and a scrubber.
😂 how did your husband do that to the pan though??
He didn't. It's clearly fake.
@@briggyb umm how do you know that?
@Childs anything is possible. Her voice and the way she talks makes me think she made it extra dirty for the video.
@@briggybagree😂
@@briggybthe voice filter and her accent made you think she purposely made her pan dirty?…
I’m dying what DID you husband do to that pan 😂😂
Cover the bottom of the pan with ammonia soaked paper towles, place in the sun for a couple of hours and the crud will practically wipe off and a sopa pad will get the rest.
You should put like a paper tape in between, then let both the scrubs "marinate" for about 10mins then scrub for the same time like about 3 minutes to both
For a dollar tree cleaner, if you need something cheap it works good
Thank you for doing this comparison 😊
split it into three 1 with the pink stuff and the cleaning paste together and 1 with the pink stuff and 1 with the cleaning paste
Scub Daddy paste is GOAT
Can u do a trial where u let the product soak for 10 min before scrubbing.
Can u compare the pink stuff with Bar keepers Friend?
I just use my dish soap and baking soda does the job every time. I don't buy into the gimmicky stuff. my Daughter-in-law was gonna buy a new insta pot pot because she couldn't get it clean. That poor pan has been through the ringer 🥺
Even the audio editor couldn’t get that accent out lol
Make your husband scrub that pan
Barkeepers Helper would have dissolved the gunk and left your pan like new in 2 minutes
Okay 1, it needs to be a PASTE, hence the name. 2, You need to let it sit for the reccomended time in order for it to actually break down the dirt 🤦🏻♀️
You can use store brand SOS pads with dish detergent
Uh... that's not a "Pink Stuff" type of job, that's a "Bar Keeper's Friend" type job. Also you're supposed to spread the product and let it sit. Your poor pans, what is your husband doing to them that the bottoms look like that after one dinner??
you should try the scrub daddy paste next
It's funny because here in the UK, the pound shops is exactly where you find the pink stuff... because it's crap.
Yup so worth it the real pink stuff never seems to be in stock locally and shipping is too high for my budget so having this dollar tree dube is a life saver
I spray with easyoff n wrap with plastic clearwrap over night next day scrub off n it will be brand new
sometimes bc its cheaper you have to let it sit longer to work better
Ion know you should try scrub daddy power paste
Stealwool and Aja always work, and lot of elbow Greece.
Use an SOS pad it will look new and you don't have to scrub hard so no scratches
Just use ovencleaner and plastic foil. Let is sit for a few hours and it's clean
Also add baking soda to the dollar tree one. Pink stuff has more grit than DT one
Am I the only one that hates the pink stuff? I don’t care what color it is, I need it to work! 😊
I don't see a difference between the 2 except the lighting that hits the left side. I use the one from the dollar tree and it works for me.
Wish I saw this before buying it yesterday
I couldn’t tell if this was her real voice or a voice over by a fake voice lol!
Bar keepers friend and let sit until almost dry then scrub to finish cleaning 😊
The pink stuff in the UK is £1 basically a dollar 😅
Barkeepers friend. Buy it. You’ll never go back
Unsure of why people say that the pink stuff paste works. I’ve tried it multiple times with different sponges on different items and surfaces and it has never worked for me I think it’s a rip off honestly.
I use a rough scrubber not a cloth like thing
You also have to keep in mind what scrub pad your using
Steel wool would do a better job than both of those pink products.
Baking soda and vinegar would've removed it all. All at dollar tree.
Let both of them sit for 10mins at least before scrubbing next time will work alot better
Scrub Daddy power paste is even better!
Oven cleaner...spray it, let it sit for an hour. BOOM, literally will drive off.
The pink stuff is only £1 in UK pound land.
Let it sit for about 10 minutes then it should come off like butter, at least the name brand should
mr muscle oven cleaner will sort that shit out in minutes 😂
Sometimes the good stuff is expensive , that just means it will most prob work better
The thing is, the pink stuff isn't an expensive cleaner, here in the uk you can get it for £1. The brand that makes it is not a particularly good or premium brand, it's bargain basement, just like the dupe she's compared it too.
Try bar keepers friend with pink stuff please?
Or, wild idea, you use the dupe more times but still save a lot more money than shelling out for the name brand. If you have to buy 3 a month vs 6 for the dupe a month, your price is just a dollar and some change over the cost of 1 Pink Stuff container. It's not like the dupe doesn't work at all. First, doesn't look like either worked very well. Second: barkeeper's friend and dawn are the best I've seen, at getting that stuff off of pots and pans.
OK I'm confused. Looking at the state of the pan, what exactly was he the man cooking?
Save your money use Ajax or off brand and some crumpled aluminum foil.
I think maybe it’s time for a new pan
Baking soda would have done better and actually cleaned it all off. Make a paste of water and BS.
You should try ashes from burnt wood
does anyone else think this lady sounds like the country version of the tiktok voiceover lady
Use barkeepers friend cleaner it will clean that pan right up
how did that happen to the BOTTOM of the pan-? did everything spill over??? i'm so confused
Thank you for comparing these 2 products.
I’ve tried the one from the dollar tree and it didn’t clean well at all
You're not supposed to use pink stuff on metal, it just scratches the surface ruining your pan
In the UK the pink stuff is the cheap brand lol
There's still a really really dark circle left on the pink side that didn't budge at all There's really not that big a difference
You should have used a scrub daddy with the cheaper product or some baking soda and Dawn
probably the bar keepers will do the job
Try easy off and bar keepers friend and let us see the results.
it looks as if the off brand worked just as good
You get what you pay for. In this case anyways.
That didn’t happen in 1 night LOVE ❤️ And WHAT I NEVER USED WATER ON METAL!
WITH EITHER…. I DONT SCRUB EITHER…. IT SITS FOR A FEW MINUTES AND WIPES OFF….
YOUR DOING TOO MUCH ARM WORK
the pink stuff should be taken off the shelves in my opinion, just doesnt work great. i think ppl just likes the name
To me, neither did a job that would want me to buy the product.
Yeah. It's hard to believe your husband did that cooking 1 damn dinner! U drama queen !
Barkeepers Friend works so much better and faster.
It says right on the bottles of the pink stuff not to use it on your pans and stuff like that.
I don't like the pink stuff. It dosnt work on anything. I use oven cleaner...if I let my pans get that way.
I disagree; DT cleaning supplies have always been useless wasted money whenever I've tried it. The crud never works. Unless it's a name brand (like Comet cleanser) I will no longer buy cleaners from DT.
All husband Cook in High. That's what happened to that pan. Lol
