And today September 2022 Mr Koko is proven right and those who said otherwise are still peddling allegations that failed at Zondo Commission and NPA. Current CEO is not an engineer and the results are showing, he's blaming former leaders but when Mr Molefe was at the helm he blamed no one but did the job and he was successful with Mr Koko by his side. I'm really saddened that Mr Koko said he will never come to Eskom again. Some of his fellow engineering colleagues have left eskom and the country we have poor leadership now at eskom
Interesting what Koko has to say. It's a pity that power generation issues are so politicised that people can't have rational discussions regarding SA's power generation needs without it degenerating into some Gupta issue. If what Koko is saying is true then we're in trouble
Koko is playing us and he thinks we are fools with regards to his daughter getting a tender for a billion without his knowledge! Even the tv interview he lied when asked until he was shown his signature, if he was confident with Tegetha deal why he lied about signing prepaid?
What you have just said is probably true but on the order of what this country is facing that's a side issue. What he said on this video though is true: Currently there's excess capacity for power generation and there's no need for IPP's. IPP (wind, solar, GTP) cant be used for base load which is what this country needs. Electricity from coal is still cheapest than from all other forms and is stable and we have plenty coal in SA. For IPP's to even get off the ground they need to be guaranteed a price for electricity and Eskom would have to buy and pass on the cost onto the consumers and this on the back on an economy that is not growing. There's no need for IPP's. I disagree with him on the issue of nuclear energy as i think oaa the efforts for power generation should be around a resource that we have in abundance, coal. Funny though, all we have heard was that this country cant afford nuclear and I have yet to see the economics to support that assertion. Am pretty sure majority of south africans have not seen as well. What we have heard though were politics of expensive nuclear is. this then brings me back to my ealier remark; : It's a pity that power generation issues are so politicised that people can't have rational discussions regarding SA's power generation needs without it degenerating into some Gupta issue. If what Koko is saying is true then we're in trouble"
Mission is - Collapse eskom and make electric tariff expensive while petrol is also expensive so that the country can be on panic mode. Which will trigger chaos and revolution in the country. Some-1 is driving all this. Listen to KoKo carefully and you will hear that there is some-1 in politics who is driving this so that there can be chaos at the end. I always said "We might not need nuclear now but we do need to build it at the end of the day" That is clear I then said "Let's look at all the major deals at Eskom and see the names of the people who are at the forefront of those deals. Before Guptas and during Gupta era and After Gupta era. Once we got names, lets see those people are affiliated with who?
Matshela Koko knew what he was talking about n dishes out facts not political statements nxi, he is out country languishing with load shedding stupidity at it most new leadership are lost n have no interests for the country nxi
According to Koko he never knew that his daughter worked for the company that he give a billion rand contract to. With a year service at the company she was given a R26m bonus. Ja Right!!! Look at him - the definition of corruption is written on his face.
Corrupt to the core. He is deep in the pockets of the Guptas. Koko's daughter in law was awarded a tender by Eskom and claims he didn't know that. What a fool. He awarded a huge coal tender to the Guptas. He is talking because he is feeling the heat. He had to go, GOOD RIDDANCE.
@@jrtshazi4827 i do not speak politics without maths, during time, maintance at eskom was at peak, Diesel usage low, coal price was low, eskom was making cash what are you up too? Dont tell me what media told tell me facts which are documented
Who is here in 2019???
Interesting he said this about eskom to unbundle. Today 10/2/2019, exactly four months later president CR has done just that.
6 months later Koko was right
This guy was passionate and too honest to work with bo Pravin, NCAA!
I believe Koko on this one.

People miss Zuma know,
Not at all, that is the president that should have never been, to start off with
