The Highs and Lows of Bikepacking: Snow on Sardinia!

It was the end of march, and after I finished the Veneto Divide off-road tour with a friend, I was suddenly on my own- with an Interrail ticket and my bike, not knowing where to go!
There were seemingly endless possibilities, and since I’d never been on Sardinia, I thought I’d give it a try!
This was a completely new place for me that greeted me with it’s exuberant nature, but also it’s loneliness.
The nature was already far ahead of the nature on the mainland, so I suddenly found myself riding through these amazing green mountains and blooming flowers everywhere!
Unfortunately, the weather was rough and I wasn’t prepared for that. The sudden loneliness also got to me, which you can often see in this video.
All in all, while I wasn’t able to enjoy the beauty of this island, I will definitely come back to those amazing green mountains!

Really good! That weather was tough, you did a fine job showing the every day situations on a tour. Don’t give up on Sardinia! Rolling Existence on youtube had a wonderful series there where they went up the coast from Cagliari. Check it out!

yeah, I mean I often make videos showing the beauty of bike travelling, but it's not always fun so I thought I'd not hide that side of it away..
