Great video as always Hendo! Did you get a chance to throw them on the scale? If so, how did they weigh in? If not, did they find pretty true to weight?
I didn’t unfortunately but they both feel true to weighting for sure. I’m going to work on grabbing a scale that I can bring out to the field so I can go back to including that
Which barrel material has the highest peak performance? I feel like you said the continuous fiber might be the hottest bat once it gets fully broken in and it holds for a long time as well. Just more work to get it there.
Which of the 2025s VG is generally gonna hold compression longer? This one or the recent one you reviewed? If I wanna do occasional BP with it and use it in testing tournaments? Thanks!
In terms of forgiveness, velo, and overall feel, how would you compare these with the axe bats. I’ve been swinging axe for the past 5 or so months and have been looking into other bats.
Why are you editing in exit velo overlays? 1) the text moves from no reading to whatever reading you’re saying it is. 2) you’re leaving spacing in some of the overlays at the top. 3) the velo overlay is coming in after the text to speech goes off. I know you used to use 500 compression balls when doing your exit velos and I commented on that last year - this isn’t a good look.
Simple answer. We no longer record our videos with a cell phone. Pocket Radar doesn’t connect to the camera, so for those that either want a visual or are maybe watching and can’t have the volume up we put the speed on the screen to match what the radar is spitting out. Phone is setup next to the camera with max volume so the speed can be heard.

Can’t wait to get my hands on this Twisted Mistress
I still have my 2019 and it's hot AF..

@@AverageDudesSlowpitch thanks for the feedback!
I still swing my standard issue and love it so im excited to see more apc tech bats dropping, especially a short barrel
We love you for this!
@@HeadbangerSports I'd love to be a rep.

Looks like their grip tape still has some problems falling apart quickly, but still no problem cause most people throw their own thing on there.
Yup every single time lol
Happy to see the APC on more models now especially a 12" barrel.
I’ll take 2 of each. Thanks
Good review buddy! Excited for my teammates to have these! Haha
I just gotta change to hit with one of your teammates… 🫣😳
The original 220 model was APC. I heard it was crazy hot and not very durable
Sorry, title definitely should have said 1st 240 APC. 🙏🏽
@@AverageDudesSlowpitch that's kinda what I figured. Was actually gonna ask you if you ever swing the original one and what your thoughts were

The previous one generally will. The Continuous Fiber Barrels are meant for some break in
I’ve had 3 VGs-they all felt like balanced bats no endload at all. I wanna believe but just can’t lol

What 240 Vanilla Gorilla would you say is the hottest when broken in.
Dang cuh them shoulders poppin. #NoDiddy
😂
How do they compare to the standard issue
What oz weight are they??
Did you do any velo tests with 52s?
