Jungkook is only dominating when around Jimin . Which is true to some extent, I tried doing a bit research, so here's part 1, although you don't have to believe me and my opinion, I am just sharing what my thoughts are on the subject.

The last part... what JK is.. he is humble! The honorifics between him and Jimin are none... and he has taken the lead at times with Jimin. Jikook is special.

Not that you have to be masculine man to be dominant but growing into an adult man can bring some more dominant traits into your personality especially around a person that you’re very comfortable/familiar with and who is also very comfortable with you.
In short we see JK evolving as a person and shedding some of those layers where he might not have been thinking too highly of yourself.
Jk has truly been finding himself and his place which is not easy to do when all eyes are always on you... good job JK.

Jimin's only reason for not dominating the hyung line is because well...they're older than him. It's purely respect, but you can really see how he often leads the maknae line. For example, being conscious of the needs of others is also a trait of a good leader, just look at how chimchim takes care of bangtan.
ooh i can't wait to watch part II but from what I've seen so far, i hold a very similar belief.
jikookers (mostly fic writers) have this perception that Jungkook is either dominant or passive in a clear-cut manner, but i think it's actually more like Jungkook tends to be passive but from time to time his dominant side comes out around Jimin.
and i think it's particularly sweet that 90% dominant JK moments are him taking care of Jimin.
Like when he scolds jimin for not eating or when he's in a situation where he might "need to be in charge" (ie. drunk jimin, lost in a foreign country, etc.)
I completely agree and also think JK is dominant towards others only if it's to protect JM. See the Run episode where JK scolded Yoongi for bad sportsmanship when JM got hit by Yoongie's pass. Even Hobi looked surprised at JK's tone and aggressive approach to Yoongie. JM has also stated that he enjoys being scolded by JK and when JK pretends to be the hyung. JM has a lot of alpha characteristics, which I think Jikook Hidden In Plain Sight does a really good job of highlighting. But when it comes to JK, he is very attentive and submissive. It's super cute to watch.

Especially I think Jiminie is a typical Libra (it’s just my opinion 😆), he is really a very impressive in communication skills person although he is just a 25 years old baby boy, but he’s really a smart and good at observation. I noticed that he always praises other members to comforts them (while members not in a good mood) that would make their relationships long lasting.

Jungkook's eyes speaks a lot..he doesn't have to say it, his 👀 has momentum and full of expression.
I just wanted to take a moment and offer a different interpretation on the points you mentioned in your analysis:
His behaviours that you mentioned aren't really aspects of non-dominance imho, but rather introversion, which he and the members expressed were a significant part of who he is. To me, it's not so much that he 'can be more dominant around jimin', but that the situations you chose to show his 'non-dominance' over his hyungs were public spaces or speeches. As a fellow introvert who is actually good at public speaking and can be a dominant confident person whenever i want, I can say that Jungkook's behaviour is typical introvert behaviour. Despite being good at public speaking, I still let others take the lead or take the spotlight when I don't need to be in the spotlight, because the spotlight drains our energy. Introverts don't feel comfortable in these situations not because we're timid or non-dominant, but because it makes us tired and takes a lot of psychological energy for us to be in the centre of attention. Whereas on the other hand, members like Namjoon, Hoseok, Jimin, they're all extroverts who derive energy and power from being the centre of attention, and would prefer to be in the spotlight anyway. An example of introversion not being the same as non-dominance, is the obvious fact that Yoongi is also an introvert who always vocalises his opinions, but still feels the need to be alone, not constantly interacting with the other members, and often not taking your idea of a 'dominant stance' in pretty much most situations, unless they're talking about something he's really passionate about like music or gaming. Likewise, another introvert is Jin who has a rather loud persona, and yet he claims that he likes to be alone and to his own devices, and the only reason he does what he does is because of his allergy to serious moods, in which he decides to take matters into his own hands. Just like me, when someone in my team stumbles in a presentation, i step in and offer input. Just like JK, who is quiet until there is a need for him to contribute, which he'll do just fine. In general, all introverts sustain the habit of blending into the social background in their own ways and don't come out of their little bubble unless there's a NEED for it. You can literally stare at his "dominance" whenever they are in Run BTS, his competitive nature busting out like nobody's business.
Extroverts though? They enjoy it in a sense, and it makes them energetic. Us introverts, and by extension Jungkook, would certainly not enjoy being in the spotlight. It's super tiring. And it's always extroverts who misinterpret our behaviour thinking we're shy or non-dominant, because they don't understand that our brains don't function in the same way they do. People get shocked at the concept that Jin is an introvert despite the fact that having people skills is not a quality of extroversion. There's a lot of confusion and misinformation around introversion, sometimes people use the term interchangeably with 'shyness', even though they're irrelevant terms. It's a _drag_ to be in the centre of attention, i despise it even though I'm good at it. The difference is when an extrovert gets back home they feel like they wanted to be out with their friends a little longer, whereas when someone like me goes home, we just want to curl up in a ball and not talk to anyone lol. Even a phone call will make me go like, _god no._ Being social drains our energy, that's why we prefer solitude.
In a private setting, Jungkook does not shy away from dominating over his hyungs both physically and verbally. He's quiet often but when you watch his content, you see that his words carry weight, that his jokes always makes them laugh, he teases them and annoys them, and they go to him whenever they need something. You showed that yourself. Even on different public settings, like on stage for instance, nobody can deny his ability to dominate the stage even if his hyungs are around him. He clearly doesn't lack anything when dominance is involved, and _choosing_ not to be dominate when he doesn't need to be is not the same as being unable to be so or struggling to be so. And thus, just because he personally doesn't wish to be dominant in certain situations (when in many other cases he'd shown that he clearly can be) doesn't mean we get to categorise him as someone shy, in-dominate, or selectively dominant based on a person. The premise and conclusion have no correlation.
He WAS very shy when he was younger, and I remind you that shyness indicates a fear of social interaction. But as he grew up that shyness went away and his true personality shines, in which he happens to be an introvert, someone that prefers solitude and gains energy from being left alone to his devices, losing energy around other people and especially when being at the centre of attention, and preferring to hand it to others when it's not necessary for him to be in the spotlight. These are all natural aspects of introversion, not non-dominance. I think you're misunderstanding dominance, which is simply the amount of influence a person has over something or someone. JK can be dominant if he wants, but he refrains from it because as an introvert, it would would require extra amounts of efforts to be social in general. But whenever he expresses an opinion, people stop and pay attention to him. He's not overshadowed by the more extroverted members who're more prone to babble. In fact, they often stop the flow of the conversation to go out of their way and ask for his opinion when he gets too absorbed into his own world. A common introverted behaviour. I do agree that Jimin brings out JK out of his introverted shell better than with the other Hyungs, but to me that only indicates a certain level of comfort an introvert can make with only a few people in their lives. If we do like someone a lot, friend or otherwise, we don't hold back on much and will take initiative. It's not really about Jungkook being more dominant over Jimin, or him flexing his dominance only on jimin, but that he finds spending energy on interacting with him totally worth it, which in my opinion is amazing and indicates a strong trusting relationship between them. Likewise, JK letting Jimin touch him is important, but is it dominance? Other extroverts in the group don't seem to care for much physical contact either, for example Rm doesn't care for it despite being his 'dominant' self that you described. I think comfort with initiating physical contact is irrelevant to dominance.
Also, just wanted to point out that many body language experts don't believe folding your arms to be an indicative assertive feature lol I've seen many videos that describe it as a literal 'self-hug', a form of self reassurance. I would take your analysis of their body language with a grain of salt. So to summarise, I don't believe Jungkook is a non-dominant person unless Jimin is involved. I think he is an introvert who prefers to stand on the sidelines, and who loves and trusts Jimin enough to want to contribute mutually to their relationship.

@@SearchingInSilence im not sure which part of my speech sounded harsh, but it was not my intension. i can't exactly control how it sounds like in text. i spoke to the point as much as i could. how long it was, was a product of my inability to be concise. it wasn't because i wanted to sound accusing. in the end i did agree with you that there was a special something in the way jikook interacts. the whole point of my comment was a different way of looking at the same behaviours in the ways i thought made sense, and i thought they were worth sharing, because I had these things in common with JK. not because i didn't get your video.

Okay I might sound dumb but I don't feel like there is a "dom" when it comes to jikook. I feel like they are equals. They both show dominance in certain situations and there is no real follower in their relationship. Idk what y'all think but I'll just leave my opinion here.😅

JK is such an interesting mix of behaviors :) I think being an introvert, his personality is such that he's comfortable letting others take the lead, unless it's moments with Jimin.......or those times on stage when he comes out and takes very clear command of the stage. I call it his power walk. When he's in the zone he slays on stage. I think he and Jimin have found a nice balance where sometimes Jimin takes the lead, and sometimes he steps back and Jungkook does his thing.
The second part. JK/Pictures/Group... The same thing as I said in the first part, it's all about honorifics in how he is raised.
Funny how ppl take all kinds of different takes from this. For me it's obvious JK has a passive personality and only gets comfortable being more assertive towards JM bc he lets it be so. JM doms

Despite of jikook, I'm being jungkook's stan for 7 years and i'm absolutely agree about his behavior as introvert one. He feel anxious when he's alone in new environment which he always do that with his hyungs. But it change when it comes to Jimin. He will, i don't know, can i call it as passive dominant. Cause he dominating Jimin, but still let Jimin to decide everything. He support also protect Jimin at the same time. OMG i swear my eyes on him for 7 years and its totally different when he with Jimin about anything

Why do people always have to look for a dom in potentially gay relationships? Just like straight couples, the majority of gay couples aren’t into bdsm or similar things. There doesn’t have to be a dom top or a power bottom, it can just be even relationship where both people give and take equally.

This is only my opinion: I don't think anyone is purely dominant or submissive, in general. While it's true that one side is more predominantly present than the other, I believe if one is comfortable enough in his environment (a person or a group) they can showcase their capacity to be both types.
I have stated similar thing in PART 2. I agree with it.

Dominating and trying to show affection for your partner are entirely 2 different things.

You can be very "manly", have muscle or whatever and not be the dominant or "top" in the relationship.. I don't get why people get so worked up about JK being a big softie and try to impose an idea of him, same thing with Jimin.. just because he likes fashion and breaks some boundaries (like wearing makeup or wears a "women" sweaters) it doesn't mean he's straight up submissive or "bottom".. and if they are, then that's okay too! it's like the issue with toxic masculinity all over again, just let it go, it doesn't make them less talented, kind caring, sweet, lovelies and handsome..
we don't fully know them and if any ship were real, all that should matter is their happiness.

Ok, the first part, I wouldn't use dominance, I would use honorifics! South Korean parents teach their children honorifics. They are taught to respect their elders, whether is 1 month or older. JK is the youngest so he gives respect!
Have to wait for part 2 to where youre going. We always hear the hes large but im in charge thought with jikook. That nightmare vlive where jin and jimin went on without jk so he held one and jimin sitting on the bed yelled at. He told jimin he does what he has to do. Its like OK Mr jeon. JK is not relaxed in new environments even in 2023; specially if he is alone have to do talking (not in live streaming - he is always in his comfort zone) - JK starts fidgeting or play with fingers. It is not an introvert behavior or anti social, it is simply not comfortable out of used familiar zone.
Jimin has never shown that, he is an initiator, a great performer stage and off stage on interviews. One simply nudge only needs and Jimin is just as good a MC Jin show cased us through out. Jimin is always confident in speaking and he seems to have stacks of cards on speaking in his head and he simply pulls one out that align with the situation and audience to talk to. Something I value a most in Jimin.
When talking about behaviors; I think Jimin is just same as a dominant in any relationship - within BTS or with JK as in a love relationship. There was a period Jimin showed submissive behavior when it came to JK and JK showed dominant - may be that is why people started to think Jimin needs to be protected and JK protecting and Jimin is not strong as a man should be.
I do not agree. I'm a woman and married to a guy - still we show case both dominant and submissive behaviors based on our moods and situations accordingly, mostly we are dominant but that is how a relationship is. It does not have to be one always submissive to the partner of dominant behavior.
For me Jimin and JK bond is like the Thai BL drama - Bad Buddies. Both are strong powerful but when it comes to the relationship within themselves, they act as per.
You have managed to point out all the little behaviours that I have noticed about them and given them reasoning when i am very bad at being able to understand why something is like that only that it is that way. I haven't watch the whole video yet (will do), but I want to comment before I'll forget to do it: you say it is maybe your opinion that JK is very anxious in a new environment. JK in recent interview for some magazine said he is extremely anxious when he is being filmed, except he is on stage singing and dancing. Either in interviews, or in award shows, or even in their own variety shows, when filming their dvd's, when he has to participate in photoshoots - he is anxious. So it is not your opinion, it is truth ;)
Also, his Hyungs during one of their old Vlives did state that Jk does not do well without them around. I believe this is when they were discussing his "Masked Singer" performance. Jk confirmed this also.

Okay, I'm out of here. You're commenting on stage behavior that is scripted, as if it is candid and spontaneous. You're incorrect. In addition, in shot after shot, you're doing something called confirmation bias, which is where you have your preconceived notion, and then you describe what you see to make it fit your notion. But in every case where you tried to make a point, I can break your point by focusing on other people in the group and talking about things differently. And I will be as accurate as you are in what I observe. The only difference between us will be the conclusions that we draw. I'm not coming into this with any preconceived notions. So I think my assessment of what I'm seeing would actually be more accurate than yours.

oh I c! actually jk could be irritated because he wanted to do a song with jimin... I conclude that since rm noticed and pointed out that they already have a song together, we don't talk anymore. jk pointed out that jm and tae had a song together (friends) so maybe he was annoyed that jm wanted to collab with him again? we can't say what was going on in his head, but this is what I concluded.

Ok this is going to be a really long comment but if you ship any of the above please read it. I'm going to start off by saying I am a jikooker. Wait...this doesn't mean I hate any of you or disagree with you. Please just read this. Regardless of taekooker or jikooker we all know one thing. The beef and animosity between jikookers and taekookers. I don't even know how it came to in the first place or why its specifically between these two ships. Both of us blame each other saying its the others fault. Most of it came by because we have the mindset that the opposite side hates your ship and that they hate Jimin in Jikookers side and that we hate Tae in Taekookers side. Let me just say none of this is true at all. This is all fake news and rumors spread by toxic shippers or antis. Let me start off by saying that jikooker or taekooker we are all ARMY at the end. So why would we hate any of the members? This applies to both taekookers and jikookers. Both of the sides have to stop assuming and making up stories saying we hate the other ship or the member. All of this started by some toxic shippers spreading false rumors and it spread just like that. We never took time to actually see what the other sides opinion really were and jumped to our own conclusion causing a huge rift between us two. It is so embarassing as ARMY and the other fandoms are probably laughing their asses off at us now. From a jikooker pov I promise you that none of us want Tae to die and above everything we don't involve Tae's grandmother in all this. I'm sick of seeing comments saying that its sad that we include Tae's grandmother and we wish for Tae to die. I absolutely hate those comments because they are false as hell. They are all comments spread by toxic shippers and antis. If any of you say say other wise I dare you to show me the proof. Show me the proof of a jikooker saying that and I'll believe you. Dont give me bullshit saying 'He said' or 'She said' or My friend told me or 'i saw". Its all lies and they are not true and I say once again none of us true jikookers ever wishes that I promise you. Only the toxic shippers wish that and we have already said along time ago that we don't accept them as jikookers. Now for jikookers we aren't as guiltless either. I'm just as disgusted at some jikookers for spreading false news about Taekookers saying this and that when actually most of them are angels. I've talked to many of them and they are kind and sweet and none ever wished for Jimin to die except for the toxic ones like I said. And I have seen Taekookers shutting down toxic people saying they hate Jimin and I am so grateful for them. There are so many rumors spread about taekookers being toxic shippers but they only got that title because they are the biggest ship hence they got the most toxic shippers. To everyone please do not judge the whole ship based on some baseless claims that the whole ship are toxic. Many of us shippers are peaceful people trying to live our lives in peace. And because of the toxic shippers, I have seen baby jikookers and taekookers believe what they say and spread false stuff. To stop this altogether we have to start by stop spreading fake news and start respecting every ship. Then we have to understand that we are all ARMY and we love all the members. If you are jikooker or taekooker reading please spread this message to everyone. I dont wish any wrong or harm for anyone. I just want all these to end. I want us to be happy together. If you are a true Army you will spread this. Help me by posting this on UA-cam channels of taekookers and jikookers. I don't know if this message will get far or bring a change but if we believe and if we want to change this we can. Spread this in channels your social media or any group chats for shippers that you are in. I hope that we will bring change by this message.And finally I want to say if you see anyone encouraging toxic shippers please immediately stop them so that we can have a better relationship with each other. I don't know if many people will do this but if you can please comment an apology on the other shippers channel with this message pinned. I am going to post this on every jikook and taekook channel I know. If you see this please spread it. If you are a real shipper and army you really want this to end...unless you love the fights and drama and animosity we have and I hope you don't as a real ARMY. Remember that we don;t hate each other and I am writing this to bring a change and not point fingers. Everyone is at fault here. I purple you all💜
