    In this video, I take you to Clearwater Beach one of the best places in America to have colorful sunset. Setting your camera properly to capture a sunset is vital. If you underexpose it or overexpose it you might ruin it.
    In this video, I will show how I photograph the Sunset, the aperture that I use, the shutter speed and the ISO

    Nice tricks and composition. The last photo is indeed, something special. But comparing with the initial photos, the composition is changed, the angle is different and the clouds are different ! This is the true power of RAW files and great editing techniques ! Thank you, Serge for another awesome video. Now I want to go to so many places :)

    Hi, amazing photos, thank you for video ! By the way I have one question: why do you prefer aperture 7.1 in seascape photography. Is not a better 11 or even 13 to raise depth of field ?

    • @SergeRamelliPhotography
      @SergeRamelliPhotography  5 років тому

      Well at 7.1 everything is already pretty sharp of you go above you tend to have some sensor dust which is not nice..

    Thank you for your great tutorials Serge. I have two questions for you: 1. What tripod head do you use in these shootings? 2. You always advocate a bit of underexposure. This seems to be in contrast with recommendations to “expose to the right” in order to get cleaner shadows while still protecting the highlights. Will you please expand on your recommendation? Thanks again!

    • @SergeRamelliPhotography
      @SergeRamelliPhotography  5 років тому

      When you underexpose you have more data in the shadows and in the highlights which could be blown out otherwise

    Hi Serge; I enjoy your videos however on this one I’m wondering why you didn’t do a long exposure to really get more colour in the sky as the sun was setting? You could have still taken a lovely under-exposed photo but get that water smooth and more colour in the sky. Just a thought; we all have our own style after all. I love your videos and Lightroom tutorials 😊

    How come you don't use filters on the camera?

    • @SergeRamelliPhotography
      @SergeRamelliPhotography  5 років тому

      Two reasons, 1. I love the look at the wave at .4 seconds and for that I don't need a filter and I wanted a longer exposure I would use the build in smooth reflection app that does long exposure without any color cast AMAZING, here is a video I did a while ago on the subject ua-cam.com/video/q64Be84rSDQ/v-deo.html

    Sadly just another over-manipulated and unreal-looking image. I've never seen a sunset like that before and certainly not one with such a wonky horizon.
