VIDEO INTRODUCTION: On 2nd August 2022, after US house speaker nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan, the chineese have been conducting aggressive military drills near Taiwan!! and with each passing day this aggression of China has kept on increasing!! and like we saw in the previous episode, this situation is so critical that a minor miscalculation here and there could escalate this conflict to a world war 3 itself!! and more importantly, with 2 of the most powerful army locking horns in the battle Taiwan, it could lead to a devastation that could take a century to recover!!
and while the entire world is biting its nails trying to understand who is going attack what are the possibilities of warfare, Reuters put an in depth article on the war strategies of Taiwan, USA and China and How the battle of Taiwan could turn out in reality!!
So if you love to study war strategies and want to understand the battle of taiwan, lets dig deep and visualise this entire reuters article to und understand,
What would be the war strategy of China to attack Taiwan?
How could this little island of Taiwan with the support of the American and Japanese army defend against the mighty Chinese army?
and How could this battle of Taiwan lead to the horrific world war 3???

In the Sino-Taiwan war, much before the US army arrives, sanctions can be implemented, and later India should wisely cut off the Mallacan Strait route for China and take back Aksai Chin. Believe it or not, if India wants the China-occupied area back this will be a golden opportunity to be grabbed with both hands, the timing of the move will decide the fate.

I think India should take back POK if the war happens. The attack on POK would mean that India is with the west and is attacking China's allies i.e. Pakistan. Let US, Japan take care of China. If China loses the war we can make China sign a contract where they need to give back all occupied territories and China can't bargain since it lost the war. All the territories which China occupied since it's independence should be given back. That way we can get Aksai Chin and POK too.

Congratulations Think School and Ganesh Anna for 2M🎉
US does not seem to be serious regarding commitment to Taiwanese security
Even their Policy is not so clear
Because their Senators and a few higher officials are repeatedly saying that "We follow One China Policy"
And when President Biden said that "We will defend Taiwan" later their military officials and Congress members clarified that President Biden's statement was misinterpreted
Whereas if you see our policy is clear
"We don't encourage Unilateral attempts to change the status Quo"
When asked about One China Policy our MEA spokesperson didn't even mention One China Policy he just said "Our Policy is known that doesn't need Reiteration"
One side US is going on mentioning One China Policy whereas we are the only country to not mention the word "One China Policy"
Firstly war brings only destruction Iam here not supporting any war
If PRC starts a war then PRC would face pressure from India on their western front and the Malacca Strait would be Choked by US and Australian Navy and India would increase the presence in Ladakh region heavily
I think Taiwan can defend itself by adopting "Porcupine strategy"
Porcupine is an animal which protects itself from other wild animal attacks by releasing it's spines and injure the wild animal
Taiwan is not Ukraine, Ukraine shares a big land border with Russia which makes it easy to mobilize troops and armoured vehicles from Russia to Ukraine
But whereas in case of Taiwan firstly Taiwan is an economic powerhouse and most importantly a big Island
Invading an Island is different and far complex compared to invading a territory which has land border
And Taiwan has a decent military strength to defend itself
Since 2015 Taiwan is following Porcupine strategy to defend itself
Infact Taiwan has the best in class mines
They mastered the art of laying mines both land and sea based mines to inflict damage to invading Chinese forces
And this will give enough time to react for Taiwanese armed forces
Taiwanese airforce have around 100 F-CK-1C Multirole Combat Aircraft, around 100 F-16 V standard and around 40 Mirage aircraft and other airlifters like C-130H etc... Which are good enough to engage in Dogfights and Air to ground missions
Their fighters are armed with AIM 120 AMRAAM BVR, MBDA MICA, local made Sky Sword air to air missiles; AGM 65 Maverick Air to Ground Missiles etc
Also Harpoon and local Hsiung Feng Anti Ship Missiles
Along with that they have 6 E-2 Hawkeye AEW&C aircraft for early warning
Along with that they have 7 Patriot PAC 3 SAM systems and local made Sky Bow SAM systems to assist Taiwanese Airforce also not to forget the US Air Support from their carriers in case of conflict
US would give away Armed UAVs in big numbers to Taiwan in case of a conflict
Coming to Taiwanese Army they have M1A2 Abrams around 110 on order whose delivery is likely to be fast tracked this year and over 850 other MBTs; they also have over 150 Medium Tanks
Other than Tanks they have 2500+ Armoured vehicles
In Artillery they have 250+ self propelled Howitzers and 1300+ older Howitzers
They have 29 Apache armed with Hellfire Anti Tank Guided Missiles and older AH-1 Cobra 60 odd in service
They have 40+ modern RT 2000 MRLS and 60 odd older MRLS systems in their inventory
Not to forget the ATGMs and HIMARS MRLS which US will provide to Taiwanese Army during Conflict also Tomahawk can be provided
So just imagine how many tanks and armoured vehicles should PRC mobilize from mainland to capture Taiwan that too through sea route with mines laid both on land and sea on top of that mobilizing through sea is very slow
If PRC wants to mobilize fast then airlift is the method but airlift requires many air sorties to transport Armoured vehicles and most importantly a big airbase to land cargo aircraft which is not easy even if they did Taiwanese Army will be ready with MILAN, Hellfire type ATGMs and Stinger MANPADS
Taiwanese Navy isn't that strong well they have 4 Submarines, 4 Destroyers, 22 Frigates, 14 Corvettes but they are very old around 40 years old but they form the first line of Defence of Taiwan
Their strength is Minewarfare and missile vessels armed with Haroon and local made Hsiung Feng Anti Ship Missiles and good number of Torpedos to counter PRC Navy initially
Not to ignore the support from US and Japanese Navies Japan will send it's warships to Ishigaki Islands which are 300 KM off Taiwan Main Island Japan already deployed Missile Batteries in those Islands in 2022
I think most probably China would try to surround Taiwan to stop Taiwanese Navy from advancing first then launch attack on Matsu and Kinmen Islands US and Japanese ships are likely to intervene while surrounding Taiwan
Th economic cost of war is very high in long term PRC will loose a lot many Western Companies will leave China by adopting more aggressive China exit and China Plus One strategy here India can make big gains if proper policies are implemented on time
And the already struggling global economy would be crippled even if a short scale conflict happens
Just imagine the scale of disruption of supply chains impact on heavily globalised World
Russia-Ukraine both are not big contributors to global supply chains but the impact is very high on global economy just imagine how Taiwan China conflict would impact global economy as whole world is heavily dependent on both China and Taiwan
Firstly semiconductor supply chain will be disturbed because of war
This will push the case to fast-track implementation of semiconductor manufacturing in India
Second China Exit and China plus one strategy of western companies will pick up pace
And this time manufacturing won't be concentrated in one country
Obviously India will get a big chunk of manufacturing along with India Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand will also get big chunk of manufacturing
We must focus on extending the India-Myanmar-Thailand Trilateral Highway till Vietnam via Cambodia
This route has potential to become next trade route because majority of the companies shifting out of China are shifting mainly to Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, India so connecting them with highway will be a game changer and our North East region will become a logistics hub in this case
But sanctions on Myanmar will pose a problem to this
I think India will have an edge because growing economy and purchasing power along with that add Free Trade agreements with Australia and UAE
UAE is likely to become gateway for India to trade with the Arab nations with less tariffs
And FTA with EU will change the game entirely in the favour of India
But we need few policy changes like amendments should be made to labour laws, land acquisition procedures and mainly shipping clearances
In China it takes 5 days to let a ship depart whereas in India it takes 20 days this should be changed
And more aggressive funding to build infrastructure is needed more DFCs should be built
Lastly one final point militarily India has very strong military even if we combine all of Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Indonesia military still they don't match our military might
Security will be key factor in the mind of the company to ensure no disruption of supply chains in future

While I greatly appreciate this analysis, I don’t think it would make any sense for the Americans or the Japanese to engage head to head in a direct confrontation with an enemy that had already surrounded a target. With so much military resources committed to Taiwan it is significantly easier for Japan and the Americans to deploy and attack Shanghai. A very easy port based target and a much larger strategic hit.
Engaging a larger enemy that can restock so close to home base head to head is a terrible idea and very unlikely to happen. Easier to punish China in other way such as attacking other targets and make them realize that Taiwan is not worth fighting over
All is fair in love and war and you didn’t check your flank.

    • @newhope5729

Point sir..... You've got a point, but wouldn't it be a major escalation in the war from their side which can really push this thing in a world war scenario? 🤔 But yeah these war strategies are countless, difficult to make people understand all possible scenarios in a video of just around 15 minutes or so.....

    • @bunduuk
      @bunduuk Рік тому +1

Well in that case, they can simply press the "Big Red Button" to annihilate both the capitals, also attacking China directly would lead to direct provocation from USA on China, instead under the garb that USA and its allies are just trying to protect Taiwan. Also USA already has 3 fully militarized bases is South China Sea, so that wouldn't be a problem for them,

    • @MrZerged
      @MrZerged Рік тому +3

@@newhope5729 yes it would to an extent. If you consider the likelihood that China would have attacked American bases in Japan and Japanese ports it’s likely tit for tat to attack Shanghai ports.
The point that is most important is that China would be COMMITTED to defending new land it is trying to take. They will dig in and a vast majority of resources are there. There is a lot of other targets that will inflict pain to China if they do this such as Chinese shipping lanes, Chinese island bases in the South Pacific and of course HK and Shanghai.
Also do not rule out Japanese power. They will not be happy and may launch air strikes into Russian and Chinese airspace separate from the US forces.
This is not a simple 1 and done maneuver and we all go home. Japan and the US will cede Taiwan in favor of inflicting dramatic pain in other places.
It will become a war more of how much pain can you take to defend Taiwan while the rest of the world messes up other important parts of China.
Also and not for nothing, China will also lose any support from Rare Earth metals from Australia.
In summary, there is no way China, US. Japan go with this strategy. If the US was pro this strategy they would have gone head to head with Russia in Ukraine.

    • @MrZerged
      @MrZerged Рік тому

@@bunduuk attack the port is different from attacking the citizens. Remember, according to this strategy China will attack Japanese ports and American bases in Japan. It is a direct attack on Japanese soil. It’s a larger escalation than taking over Taiwan.
Lastly keep in mind that Chinese aggression would be attacking another country and already hurting civilians. Are you sure Taiwan doesn’t have their own nuclear dirty bomb…hmmmmmm….
