Hiring Actors: Attachment vs Employment

✨When attaching talent a producer is asking the actor to use their name/likeness to help raise funds for the project. In exchange the producer promises employment and other incentives if the project is produced. Talent will provide a letter of intent which outlines their commitment and for how long the producer can use their name to scout funds.
✨Talent Employment is simply when the producer is looking to hire the actor in a role. The producer has the funding for the film. The producer is not looking to use the actor’s name to solicit funds but possibly just to advertise the movie.
