The very first time I heard Her I was 11 Years old. It was 1977 and Barracuda was playing on the radio. Ann Wilson Has one of the best voices on the Planet! Nancy Wilson Plays Guitar better than any Musician Around!! God I Love Them. 🌹🌹♥️

I was there! Such a great singer still now in her early 70s the rock queen 👑👑👑 she has a great band and love her playing her hits from Heart and enjoyed the 2nd time I seen her here in Sterling heights!

Thank You SO Much for posting this. I was supposed to be there at the Sterling Heights Festival. I was so upset and bummed out I missed the chance to see legendary rocker Ann Wilson.
Kind of sad not to see Nancy as well but what are you gonna do. I don't know why Heart broke up or why they don't tour together. I have so many good memories of their music back in the day.
Ann looks great for 73 (I'm 60). She sounds okay. The sound mixer needed to bring her voice up to the forefront and tone down the band. Tripsster are great musicians. Would love to see what's under the bass players' kilt.😍😋

Why so many negative comments? The vocals were a little quiet but thats it. I saw three Ann shows in other venues this year and she sounded awesome! She sounded powerful and fierce. Some people shoulndt be allowed to comment, seriously. Negative old hags. 😏🧐🤓
Thank you for this comment. I had a decision to make. Good audio or good video. I chose the video. I've recorded at this venue before and know the vocals will be quiet if I'm up front. I just don't like shooting video over a bunch of heads.... Thank you again for sticking up for me...
You are so welcome. I just think the audio is definitely decent enough to enjoy it. People behave as if its trash. It is definitely quiet and they should work on it but apart from that the video is super enjoyable. Also people commenting things like Ann should give up singing make me so angry. She sounded awesome and blew the roof off the building when we saw her. She works her butt off at 73 to bring people joy. Btw; I am listening to the mp3 of this show every day in my car and I can hear everything very well. All the best from Germany

I loved it. She was really good. I saw her years ago with her sister in the band Heart a few times. But that was a long time ago. I was so excited to hear she was doing this free show at a local festival. I got there early so I could be right up front. Loved it. Thank you... I would love to come to Germany some day...
@@concertconnection3613 I saw Ann 3 times last year and 3 times this year. I made it to front row all 3 shows last year! It was amazing! She was sooo powerful. One of the shows last year was WACKEN festival/Germany.

There are some complaints about not being to hear Ann's vocal. That is because the voice runs through the PA system, the speakers of which are on either side of the stage. This video was shot close-up in the middle of the stage, so one gets the instruments, not so much the vocal.
One must also consider that cameras and phones are far from ideal for capturing high-volume music and drums (particularly cymbals). Indeed, the lower the volume, the better the sound. But low volume isn't going to happen at a gig like this. Plus, being outdoors makes everything worse.
So instead of complaining, appreciate the fact that someone made the effort - and did a very good job, all things considered - in capturing this gig for us.

I saw her 5 times this year. I think she looked absolutely stunning, beautiful, happy, smiley, cool, stylish. She has the energy to do 50 shows til mid december. She sings her heart out on stage and brings a lot of joy to people. So, judge. But, guess what? She seems happy to the very core and very content😊🎉.

Yeah, the sound system up front isn't very good. You have to be back on the lawn to hear the vocals which is a problem because then the video isn't good...

Let's work on the audio quality. The sound recording was terrible. Lastly, bring back Tom Bukovac on guitar.
It is a problem at this venue. if you are up front you get great video but poor vocals. I moved around several times during the opening act to get the best place for audio but then I would have a bunch of heads in front of me. So what do you do? I made the right decision. I did an Uncle Kracker video last year at this venue. Same thing. Couldn't hear the vocals. I'm goint to talk to the city and see if they can fix it

I put the mp3 on CD and listen to it in the car on my way to work. The vocals are quiet but definitely not horrible. I can hear it very well. Your recording is awesome. Best you could do under the circumstances.

It was at Saint Pious, at Lynnwood, a community about 20 miles north of Seattle.
Their original bass player, freaked out on drugs, and was given a job as janitor at the Parish. I think he still works there.
