Weez Gutta No, you are very mistaken they are native to Papua new ginea and are the longest lizard in the world they are just very rare
There is a documentary on them and researchers have made studies on them. However they’re still shrouded in mystery and most of the information on them comes from people who live there and they note that they’re rather dangerous to capture and they attack dogs sometimes.

Their teeth will ruin your day, you'll bleed out. I have been reading BIAWAK journal from the International Varanid Interest Group and the scientists are saying how V. Salvadorri (I think its correct) may be on its own branch within the evolution of varanoids. Its scales, head shape, and teeth are all unique.

if you bread to extremely tame monitors that are naturally tame, will the offsprings be more tame at birth?
Its personality might be tamer, but most of it depends on circumstance and treatment.
Some will be, some won't, it's down to chance due to the fusion or genetics between the parents. There will be a set of genes that will make for a more docile friendly animal that will only show up a certain amount of times in the off spring
