I wish to thank you for this video. I am taking ECO 101 on-line and this has helped me very much. Unfortunately the course I'm taking doesn't contain video lectures.
This video is very helpful, but I think I was watching it mostly because of a really sweet British accent ☺️
How kind
Is the index1800 or 2000 to differentiate between competitive and concentrated markets?
Maybe I'm wrong, but if a local radio station market consisted of two companies
with 40% each, and of two other companies with 10% each,
the HHI would be
1600+1600+100+100 = 3,600.
And not 3,400. Am I missing something?
1600+1600=3200 +100=3300+100=3400.
very very useful for me!!!
Glad to hear that!
Thanks
so clear thank you!
Thank you.
you are amazing !
Wow, thank you! Thanks for leaving a comment.
appreciate it 🥂
Suppose if there are more than 200 firms in the industry how will I calculate HHI...Should I take all the firms into consideration.
yes you have to
Nicely explained!
Glad you think so!
