Loved your video. Yes, there is real value in keeping a house and making a home. I went to college and trained as a nurse early in my life but when I got married and had my children I was blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom. I must say it was my favorite career. I enjoyed making a home and decorating our home for every holiday. I hope my children and others that know me will say I was a good mother.
Thank for shaing your thoughts. Now i know a little better. You' re doing a great job as a mum and a home maker. I love 2ay you decorate your house. I am a teacher too. I was like you who quit my career to take care of my kids until they were big enough and always enjoyed decorating and having a clean home. Look forward to your next vedio!
“Your home is your canvas” 🥹 Thank you for this video! I cleaned my shower (it was so dirty; I pulled all the items out and scrubbed it with my Melaleuca shower cleaners and now it sparkles) and listened to your voice. Your dinner looked so delicious. I loved the tidy-up at the end, too.
I struggled with the switch to being a stay at home mom. My own mother was very cluttered while I was growing up; I didn’t learn good household skills so I am learning that now in my 30s as a mom to 5 kids. But treating it with love and care, like this is MY JOB, helps me to show up to it positively. Sometimes it’s overwhelming (like now, with a new baby) but I am trying to re-develop my “mom uniform” to get out of my survival-mode baggy clothes.

This was wonderful! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Too often I do not have a positive mindset. I needed this reminder.
You are so welcome!
Beautiful and encouraging thoughts friend. I need to remember my dignity and patience homeschooling 8 children. ❤
You can do it! Yes showing up dignified is an ongoing challenge for me too!
