Infinity war was a masterpiece. Everyone should of died, new phase of Thanos, and that's that. Nope, at the end of it all, black widow and tony died..which tony killed himself. So basically the strongest diety of the universe can get killed by a regular human and after 10 years, only widow died...this is stupid, you made it so well Marvel, only had one movie to go to make it a perfect 10 years!!

The pacing, what the fuck. Everything happens at once, Tony invents a gauntlet out of nowhere. A rat saves the universe. The time travel shit was so bad, boring and long. I don't even remember anything. Erase time travel and plotholes, great movie. It's so rushed and made for fans who will love the movie no matter what.
Thanos was boring as well and I LOVE Thanos. Not this Thanos, Infinity War Thanos.
I will say that I think as an independent Film, Infinity war is probably better by itself, but Endgame is basically what the fans wanted out of infinity war, watch the final act if you don't agree with me

Omg ItsRichyyy I’ve followed the MCU from the beginning. From 2008 I’ve watched every single marvel movie in theaters multiple times, read countless comics, watched countless theory videos, deleted scenes, commentaries, and breakdown videos. I've seen Infinity War 10 times from start to finish. And I’ve rewatched the entire MCU in order before Endgame.
Here are my reasons why this movie was bad:
1. A random rat conveniently is responsible for saving the entire world because it randomly returns Scott from the quantum realm.
2. Tony Stark figures out time travel within a day, without Scott giving him any extra information besides telling him that a quantum realm exists.
3. The incredibly cringy moment when captain marvel calls all the female characters to gather and pose for the camera before attacking Thanos.
4. The obviously sellout moment where they include Fortnite into the movie. Wow, I'm sure that's gonna age well.
5. How they completely negated all character development for Thor just to make him the butt of a fat joke.
6. The way they explain the time travel is so shallow and glossed over. They assume the audience are idiots and don't even try to explain time travel, save for referencing other movies.
7. The fact that the quantum realm is just portals now and not a physical plane like it was established that it was in Antman 2.
8. The way they handled Hulk. A selfie taking, dabbing idiot. And why didn't he want to come out in Infinity war? Because Bruce treats him not as a cure but as a disease? Really?
9. The fact that Natasha and Clint have all the time in the world to think of alternative ways to collect the soul stone but instead make a brash and stupid decision to race to kill themselves first.
10. All the development of Thanos is thrown out the window because they are fighting a past version who just wants to be evil. He's a completely different character!
11. Thanos is somehow just as powerful in the final battle without the Infinity Stones as he was with them.
12. The fact that tony has NOT spent the last 5 years spending all his time creating the most powerful defense for earth just incase another huge threat comes is absolutely ridiculous.
13. Why aren't we properly introduced to peppers new armor? and how does she know how to fight so well with it?
14. Why does the wasp have her costume on when she comes out of the portal? When she was dusted she was wearing street clothes.
15. We never learn about the orange world when Thanos snapped his fingers.
16. We never learn why this outcome of Dr. Strange's 14 million was the only one where the Avengers win.
17. If Cap showed up on the time travel platform as an old guy, this scene could be playing by the movie’s own rules. But since he was just hanging out on a bench when they noticed him, it seems to be implying that he simply lived out his life and showed up at the right moment. He’s not wearing the time travel device in that scene. Him marrying Peggy would probably mean that she never married the man that she married in the main timeline, and the kids she had with that guy never existed. So Steve went back in time and erased Peggy’s children from history. That also doesn’t really seem like something Steve would do.
18. Cap left to return the Infinity Stones to where the Avengers took them, he went only with the literal stones. Which is problematic because he would need to return them in their original forms, not as crystals. So the Space Stone would need to be the Tesseract cube. The Mind Stone would need to be in the Scepter. The Reality Stone would have to be a liquid that he would have to inject back into Jane Foster (?!?!) somehow. The Power Stone would be in its orb shell. I don't know how you would return the soul stone to Vormir.
19. And finally, the incredibly cheesy death scene of tony stark. Wow, they couldn't decide who to use to be the last person tony talks to. Rhodey? Peter? or Pepper? Nah, let's do all three, one after the other...... Where they each get to say what they want to, conveniently right before Tony dies.
All of these are the reasons why this movie is trash. Please read them all again before you reply.
I mean I get it, I respect your opinions, but I just simply disagree with some of them. Like with Thor not getting character development. That was his character development. It made the avengers seem more human. People cope in different ways and that’s how he coped. Also I loved how he didn’t transform and become buff. The problem wasn’t him being fat, it was all the problems he was trying to deal with. I love the ending between Steven and Peggy. It was very sweet and he gave Peggy that dance she’s been waiting for. The wasp probably put on her costume and got news of thanos from dr. Strange. They were most likely informed and then went to join the fight. There wasn’t any other way to get the soul stone. I also think that the female moment in the movie wasn’t cringey. I think Avengers endgame is a great movie. I mean I’ve been watching the mcu. I grew up with it. Yes, I will agree there a lot of plot holes, but I can’t say this is a bad movie. It’s all up to opinion anyway and the majority. We are entitled to our own opinions. Personally. I thought the movie was well paced and the characters felt real. It was a rollercoaster of emotions and I loved every second of it. It really impacted me, but this is just my insight of what I think about it.

Just a the one thing that made hulk great was that he had two sides making him an interesting and split character arch he had banner, and hulk two separate people but when they mixed them in endgame it was a complete fuck fest and ruined hulk I can’t even take the mention of the characters name seriously now because it was such a mess.
Because undoing all of Thanos’ entire life work and nearly dying while doing so means nothing apparently.

Thanos could have easily dusted the heroes with the infinity stones. He wasn’t trying in infinity war because he didn’t want to deplete the stones
Isnt a good thing that Thanos is super powerful even without the stones? Shows that he is not useless without the stones and is still super strong. If they show him easily get beaten, people will be unhappy that they nerfed him. They built him up since 2012 to be the most powerful being in the universe, and he was already known to be the most powerful even without the stones.

5 years since they fought idiots they’re not at peak performance, which is why Thor’s a great example. They say he was underpowered and that’s because all he did was drink utter shit that would do that to your body. Thanos was basically in his prime with his god weapon that wasn’t in infinity war.

The whole "time heist" idea isn't anywhere near original, let alone smart. They did it in The Flash like a year prior, with pretty much the exact same concept, other than the stupid time travel rule established.
The stones should not be able to be damaged too.

The movie fell flat on several levels for me:
1) The climax was LITERALLY the same as the prior film, only with a reversed outcome that was completely anticlimactic and unsurprising as it was narratively necessary to give the story ANY possible modicum of justified production.
2) Stark has ABSOLUTELY zero reason to sacrifice himself, given the presence of several other more powerful heroes, such as Thor, Captain Marvel, and Scarlet Witch, who could have wielded the Gauntlet without overloading
3) Thanos was reduced to a completely generic villain (although his initial Malthusian motivation was nonsensical to begin with) who wanted the omnipotent MacGuffin to destroy the universe, no different than Ego, Hela, Dormammu, and numerous other prior MCU villains. He could have been given a redemption arc, seeing the negative consequences of the snap and helping the heroes defeat an alternate version of himself to reconstruct the Gauntlet and protect the world from his alternate's new invasion plan. Instead he was more generic than Whedon Steppenwolf
4) The film lazily uses time travel to resolve all of it's problems even though Thanos, the Time Variance Authority, and/or the Illuminati should have complete control over time
5) The film ignores Agents of Shield although it's heroes are more than ready and qualified to deal with this situation (arguably BY THEMSELVES), and that's NOT INCLUDING the Defenders, Eternals, Egyptian/Omnipotence City Gods, or Runaways
6) The film only barely deals with the consequences of the Snap, whose effects are never made clear, as "50% of all life" could mean "50% of the dominant species", "50% of the biosphere", "50% of both genders/100% of one gender", "50% of the universe's habitable planets", etc....
7) The "female teamup" scene (and Shuri insulting Banner) was unbearably obnoxious feminist bait. Whereas in Infinity War, the Proxima Midnight fight was both empowering yet narratively organic, the scene in this felt more like demographic pandering than that bad Kardashian Pepsi commercial imo.
I'm so glad other people are able to tell that this was a bad film, and not everyone is lowering their standards for just a few good scenes
They Trashed Thor and Hulk in Endgame

Actually Thor does turn like that in the comics. A lot of the ideas that this story uses are from the comic.
Yeah maybe consider this: for you Thor is trashed because he is fat he aint powerful no more right? But that's FOR YOU, who immaturely like characters that are broken and who would most likely to compare characters from the MCU to the DCEU always arguing who is stronger and who would win in a 1v1 fight. (you know at school there were always that one kid who alway yell at the top of their lungs: "OMG SUPERMAN WOULD HAVE BEATEN THANOS WITH GAUNTLET OMG!!1!").
As I, or other old movie watchers, we like a character because they have good arc, good character development. For Thor he has become wayy more relatable when he's fat. He's the embodiment of the fact that struggling with the past may cause a downfall in your life. More on this later, you can always search online on reasons why the directors made Thor to be fat.
As for Disney, they bought the franchise, yes, but screen writers and directors were from Marvel Studio, so no, Disney wasn't involved in or responsible for Fat Thor.

The ending of infinity war was so good because you never would expect the antagonist to win so it was surprising. Now endgames ending was pretty predictable after they started talking about time travel. I guess it was a good movie but compared to infinity war, it was shit.

There was actually foreshadowing for Captain America being able to lift Thor’s hammer. In one movie there was a scene where the whole gang tried and when Captain America tried, he made the table squeak and Thor genuinely worried for a split second. It was hilarious 😂

I'll admit I thought the stakes would be x10 higher than in Infinity War and that some big characters would atleast die in the final battle.
Apart from Black Widow dying.
Was expecting War machine to die during the missile attack, or atleast get a hole punched through him by Thanos in the Comics.
Cap and Nebula getting killed by Thanos in the final attack.
Hawkeye definitely should of died during the missile attack when he fell that huge distance down into the sewer system.
Dominique Goviden, what should have happened was all the OG Avengers annihilating Thanos' army, until Thanos and Ebony Maw beam down and quickly and unexpectedly kill most of them. Then after Tony snaps, they are unable to put the infinity stones back in their appropriate timelines, meaning that Thanos was defeated at the cost of not only all the Avengers, but multiple earths (Dormammu destroys Earth without the time stone, Ultron kills all life without the mind stone, etc.) On its own Endgame would be good, but compared to the emotional rollercoaster that was Infinity War, it utterly sucked. They just had to keep the MCU going to milk it for money instead of ending it in a dignified way.

Neil deGrasse Tyson does a great job reviewing this movie. Like me, he also wonders why Captain Marvel wasn't able to get the gauntlet to the van. She can fly across the universe in seconds; fly through alien warships and cause them to explode; but an alien army on the ground is where her powers draw the line.
The crazy thing is that thanos could’ve put the heroes through a torture rack of experiences with each of the stones. That would’ve been an hour of crazy film in itself. Especially using the reality Stone. He could’ve trapped several heroes through various false realities to confuse and confound them. Very cheap quick usage of possibly the strongest weapons ever in all comic book history. Great video. I didn’t even delve into the issues you brought up as you did a good job of that already. But yea very cheap, meme based, social media driven movie. Very underwhelmed. Was already looking at my phone to see how long I had left in the film and that was around an hour and 20 minutes INTO the movie.

Only pros in this movie was cap with Thor's hammer (it's been hinted in avengers 2). Heck I have seen the similar ending of power ranger SPD. (That shows sucks too). Where similar ending happens. Or in samurai Jack or in anyother kids show.
Overall movie would be in bottom 10 of the mcu.

I wanted to stop watching right after Thor killed Thanos in the first fifteen minutes. Kill THE BEST villain in the MCU in the first fifteen minutes. It was the most anticlimactic confrontation/worst payoff I have ever seen in my entire life. Whoever wrote the script should be embarrassed to have even give thought to such a pathetic, idiotic idea. A YA novelist could come up with something better.
I thought it was too easy and Thanos was using the reality stone to fool them. Turns out it's a fucking real thing and everything become trash afterwards.
I literally was so uninvested in the movie that I missed that part.
Gave it a 3.5. Too hard to get invested in the characters situation when they literally make a joke out of EVERY situation. I can suspend disbelief for superheroes but when they barely take a mass extermination seriously, how can I?
@@theemotionalremix I would say 7 out of 10. The comedy saved the movie but to me ruined it in a lot of aspects because I felt like so many scenes were ruined by the untimely jokes during serious situations
Time travel or parallel universes(both terrible ideas), made it impossible for me to care about anything that happened from that point onward. But I kind of forgot that once again, they make a joke out of most situations. The time travel bs was too distracting I guess. lmao

Yep. This is exactly how I felt. As soon as they introduced the time travel I went "Oh my god, no......". I knew this was going to be a bad movie from that point.
@@BashBroPat I felt like the comedy was way overdone in this movie. There were so many moments that could have been great emotional moments that were constantly just turned into a joke. I wanted to love this movie but good god.... what a let down.
@@jasonmarcus1683 look man I know the "cliche" time travel plot is bad but the parallel universe? That has to be a great thing introduced. This means that the multiverse can be explained and actors can go on passively.

The funny thing is that I agree with you about a lot of what made the film lame... but regarding the resurrection of everyone, the comic is literally the same. Except of course for the fact that the comic is much more interesting and truly cosmic in scale, with the most powerful entities that control the forces of life, death and reality duking it out, and a conclusion that makes a lot more sense. Still, the comic was released the same year as the Death of Superman story arc in DC comics. Ironically, those years didn't kill anyone except death in comic books. Back in the day, you could kill off Gwen Stacy in Spiderman and have it be a big deal, but from Death of Superman on, death in comics had absolutely no lasting repercussions. I think it's really a shame, and Marvel had the opportunity to change that in a meaningful way with this series of movies. Sadly, it was a wasted chance to really breathe some new vitality into a slowly dying franchise.

Captain marvel was Amazingly written in to the movie. i had my worries about her ruining the film, BUT russos did a great job of establishing her as an important figure in the UNiverse without her stealing the light or taking over the movie. i think it was a perfect amount of CM, Only thing i wish is that THanos would kick her ass a little more.
@Jeremy Nelson the idea of Iron man in space was not to create a survival movie, but to get Tony in to further depression and out of the first fight. it wasnt a plot of infinity or endgame to watch tony stranded in space. Captain marvel was just used as a plot device. If nebula and tony would figure out the way themselves would be pointless as we allready know that Ironman can get himself out of anything that is humanly possible. Being saved by other avengers would have not been possible as they dont do space travel. SO you are not reading this scene right.

I think that they wrote themselves into a corner, and when the pressure was on to end this chapter they couldn't make a decision about where they wanted to go next which forced them into settling on this Plan D script, just so that they HAD a script which was neutral to either path they wanted to take with the universe. Either that or they just couldn't figure out how to end it and just like with JK Rowling and Harry Potter they had to do a lot of rule breaking, ret-conning ( all asgardians besides Thor were killed, not dusted, in IW and couldn't be resurrected) , and having characters act way out of their character.
It's disappointing but u pushed it too far. IW is still a great movie for one
