I’m thinking I might do more voice overs for Martlet at some point, but I can’t guarantee that it’ll be any time soon, or any time at all. I think I might either try to screen record her cutscenes in future replays or I might just download some other clips off the internet and just go from there. I’m also thinking of maybe doing other characters like Moray and Mooch, cuz they seem like fun. What do you guys think? You can technically kill almost every monster in the underground if you kill all of ruins, all of snowdin *except for martlet* kill everyone in the desert, kill all robots in the lava zone, and then have flowey kill martlet at the end, leaving only Ceroba to be the only one you can’t kill, all in a neutral run!

@@Idazmi7 In the Neutral route, she seemingly only comes to the conclusion that there's no convincing Asgore somewhere between the Wild East and the UG Apartments. In Flawed Pacifist she leads us all the way to the throne room still under the expectation that she can persuade Asgore to let Clover go. She is pretty naive. Not as much as Papyrus, but she isn't exactly Undyne either.

This scene made me so sad... I kept dying at her fight, and decided to see what the "Apologize" button did, and after seeing this, I didn't want to kill her ;-; Also, amazing voice, completely fits the character!
Undertale enemies Geno Clover would never kill: Toriel. She literally stops attacking you when you get close to die. Papyrus: Doesn't even tries to kill you. Monster Kid: Spares you at the start of the battle. Wants to he your friend. Saved you from Undyne many times. Snowdrake's mom. Her attacks doesn't even aim and deal low Dmg. So Sorry. She attacks you by accident and apologies all the time. Clover seeks justice, he judges his foes and determine wich fate they shall face, but thise characters don't have any reason to be judged as "bad" or "deserving to die".
Also Migosp because he only attacks when there are other monsters around so you can see it a form of coercion, or at least not wanting to fight. Whimsun as none of their attacks can hit you directly and if you do run into one he apologizes profusely. Moldsmal as they are by default sparable. Jerry as they never attack directly. Although it is worth noting that there would be a disconnect between gameplay and story as it doesn't make any sense for certain enemies like snowdrake to attack you given he tells a joke afters his first attack hoping you'd laugh at it.
I was NOT expecting a pretty expressive, high quality, and actually nice sounding Martlet voice. I am going to predict you'll find yourself in a voice dubbing/acting spot somewhere around youtube, or even in a film/show. I usually have strong feelings about some dubs that I've seen around (the OneShot [[ONESHOT SPOILERS AHEAD]] Solstice dub for example had some... flaws.), I hope you'll find yourself in a professional spot for voice acting! One more thing: Funny how the english voice actor of Zelda, who's a professional voice actor does a POOR job at voicing such a unique character. And then there you are, just someone on the internet who decided "Yeah, I think I'll dub Martlet from undertale yellow and it'll probably be a ok voice" ok ok I'm done with rambling praising and all that stuff, I tend to say alot of stuff especially to- OK I'M GONNA STOP MYSELF BEFORE I TYPE A WHOLE ESSAY SEE YA!

I wanted to go ahead and get this onto the web for everyone to see in hopes to garner more attention so I can make that dream happen. I’m hoping to maybe do collars with folks like Retrovosity (if I spelled his name right) Yume Studio, and other voice actors on here. Some challenges I may also face are: the fact that I don’t really know how to reach them at the moment, I may not have the same available time frame as them, and I’m kinda shy to do so. Fun fact! A martlet is actually a real bird! … Well, I say “real” loosely. It’s a mythical creature. Strangely enough, Martlet barely resembles her original counterpart. The Martlet birds have no legs, they can only fly and never land, they are also known for being young. Martlet herself seems to be in her mid-20s, is grounded longer than aerial, and not only has legs, but she has such an emphasis on them to the point that she’d realistically be incapable of flight. PS: Martlet is basically a blue ostrich with hands.

Somehow I've seen (more like heard) multiple dubs of meeting Martlet pacifist/neutral, Genocide Martlet Final Boss dub, and an aborted genocide dub (this). Yet I haven't actually seen any dubs of Martlet initially meeting you in a genocide run.
Spoilers: She basically gets an actual fight if you attack her. If you betray her, she’ll be like “ah. I see how it is”, and begin the snowdin encounter. At the end of that fight, she basically does a “HEY! LOOK OVER THERE!” And runs off, encountered again later
She has dialogue for dying, but since she is never supposed to die, the game crashes after her last line. Interestingly, the dialogue that triggers is something along the lines of "I shouldn't have let my guard down", implying that we were supposed to be able to betrayal kill her, but that was removed from the story at some point.
